Initially opening Firefox with no destination-Firefox indicates open in the control bar but will not open to full or reduced screen. With left click on control bar view and selection of a specific site other than open tab, then Firefox will open to full screen.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
