after Win10 latest updates I was not able to open firefox
it worked for me with: 1. navigate to C:\Program Files [(x86)]\Mozilla Firefox 2. right-click on firefox.exe 3. Troubleshoot compatibility 4. Try recommended settings 5. then click on "Test the program..." this opened firefox and after that I was able to open it from the quick launch
