Greetings,

I upgraded to 57.0 tonight, only to learn after the fact that a lot of my add-ons have been disabled. It offers a search to find compatible add-ons, but what do you do if you can't find any... unless I'm looking for the wrong thing?

Here's a list of what I'm now missing:

Colorful Tabs Download Status Bar FlashStopper Moment Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar Plus NoScript SearchStatus

All my Greasemonkey scripts; at least I remembered FB Purity and added it back

Thanks for any assistance you can give me.

Here are your choices; 1) Contact its support and ask if they will update 2) Find a replacement 3) Downgrade to a prior Firefox 4) Do without

The best places to find replacement addons are:

https://mozilla.github.io/extension-finder/ https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TFcEXMcKrwoIAECIVyBU0GPoSmRqZ7A0VBvqeKYVSww/edit The Add-ons forum - https://discourse.mozilla.org/c/add-ons/add-on-support

For FlashStopper, you can achieve a similar affect by enabling a hidden Firefox setting:

  1. type: "about:config" in the address bar
  2. click the "I accept the risk" button
  3. type "media.autoplay.enabled" in the search box
  4. double-click on the item that appears to change the value to "true"

The NoScript developer has stated that he will be releasing a version compatible with Firefox 57 within the next few days: https://twitter.com/ma1/status/930613057184763905

I'm not sure about the other addons.
