Firefox "loading" pages but all I can see is a white screen

I have searched and searched for a similar problem but I can't seem to find a solution.

When I go to (any) page in firefox, it will load up, including the little icon on the tab and the page title, then the page will turn completely white. The weird thing is is that the page is still there, under the white. I can move my curser around and see the different hyperlinks in the lower left hand corner. Its like the page is perfectly loaded but all I see is white. I have tried reinstalling firefox, clearing cache / history, and disabling hardware acceleration.

In my image, you can see I'm successfully connected to Amazon.com, and you can see where I'll be directed if I click into the white abyss. This started happening about 2 days ago and have no idea why. I am on a mac.

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe hardware acceleration or an addon is interfering here...
