I keep telling thunderbird that messages are not junk, but it keeps putting them back in the Junk folder. The messages come from people in my address book. What the f... is going on? It is extremely annoying. I have been using thunderbird forever. I would have to switch to microsoft software. Please help!

login failure? Unable to send/receive my emails

I am a long-time TB user with gmails. No problems in the past. I inadvertently hit send for my reply to a message delivered to me on a no-reply account (Wordpress). A big overlay screen popped up with the heading "sign in with Google" and then "sign in to continue to Thunderbird email"; then "enter email or phone"; and then "next". Clicking next takes you to a new screen that reads "Google 400, the server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That's all we know."

Meanwhile, TB tries to log on until it times out, ending with small box in lower corner of the screen, "Authentification error" (see third screen shot).

I logged onto my Google account and as far as I can tell that is okay. I've turned off my computer and tried sending emails, but always get the above screens. Seems like I'm caught in a loop and can't cancel out the error message. Is this a TB problem or a Google problem. Help!

Anyone answering this thread should email me at wetteraubruce1@gmail.com. I can read that email address on my laptop.

I have a Samsung T7 external SSD hard drive and wish to copy all my emails and store them on this device for security. I have little knowledge of jargon and tech but can copy and paste and follow simple directions. I have been copying and pasting my other files on to this drive but can not work out how to do emails. I have searched online and it seems possible but I do not understand the instructions. Is there a simple way for a tech illiterate person. Thankk you if you can help Peter

I can log into the web interface, so I know the password is correct.

I have Mozilla Thunderbird email Client on my HP W10 Computer and just have so many that I want to Save on to an External Hard Drive/Back Up on to Google Drive and so on.

I do not know how to do this Process and I tried my Local Service Provider/Verizon Tech Support and they cannot help as thy said they are not Familiar with this Product.

Is there anyone even for a Fee/Paid Support that can be of help to me on this?

Kindly Reply to me with more Information as I Really Do Not Want To Loose All Those Emails.

On a seldom used PC i cannot start thunderbird. If trying to update i get the message, that update is not possible cause a former update is not installed ready. New start and all other tried before is no solution. Deinstallation of thunderbird is also not possible with same reason.

QuickFilters runs after every message delete

Have QF Pro for awhile. Been super. Migrated to a new device (license travled with the move which is also great). Since then however... every message I manually dele… (read more)

Have QF Pro for awhile. Been super. Migrated to a new device (license travled with the move which is also great).

Since then however... every message I manually delete, QF pops up forcing me into an Add/Edit screen. Never had this before. I have gone thru what I think is every setting, every screen for QF finally just turning things off, testing, but have not found a setting that controls this.

Behavior am looking for is when I manually move a message to a folder, this Add/Edit box would pop up. But don't want this Add/Edit QF box to pop up every time I manually delete a message.

Thoughts? tx

I just installed TB 102. I have multiple cardDAV accounts set up in Thunderbird, they synchronised fine as far as I can tell. But when I type anything in the field "search all address books", nothing happens. Even if I press enter. The entire list of contacts remains displayed, I can scroll it, as if I never typed anything in the search field...

Any view what I could be doing wrong? I have only two add-ons: Dark Reader and Addon Compatibility Check.

The email composing window includes Write: in the title (before the actual email title). How can I remove this part from the title?

The space I have on my device is narrow where I can see the titles of the emails being composed and I would like to see only the email title in that location, without the "Write:" portion. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?
