I deleted a mail account from TB and now, every time I open TB, I get the prompt for logging into that account. I can cancel it but it pops up again and again. The account on the prompt has the same name as the one I have now but it asks me to log on a different server (the server I used on the deleted mail account). Other than deleting my mail account again, uninstalling and re-installing TB and re-adding the mail account (all these I would like to avoid if possible), I don't know what else to do. I don't even know if this would work to be honest. Help is greatly appreciated.

I have been using Thunderbird successfully for years for my own mail account. Now my wife's computer has failed, so I am trying to add her email account to my copy of Thunderbird. Both mail accounts are hosted by Total Choice Hosting at mail.sylvesterbradley.org. When I try to set up my wife's e-mail account, the test passes, but when I click Done, it says Incoming Server Alreay Exisits, and won't let me do anything else. I have seen recommendations to make sure that the account has a unique name, but the New Account screen does not have a field for account name, and if I look in the noraml account settings page, the new account is not there, because it didn't allow me to save it before giving me the error message.
What does the message "incoming server already exists" mean? Why is setting up two e-mail accounts using the same incoming server an error? How do I overcome this problem? Or do I have to find a different e-mail client that can do this simple thing?

I run Thunderbird on Windows 10 Pro Dell Desktop. The new version of Thunderbird (102.3.3) freezes for 6-8 seconds every time Thunderbird checks for new messages from Hotmail server. It is very annoying when you scroll message list or writing a new email. I have been using Thunderbird for many years and never had this problem until this latest release. Please look into it.

I am getting the Thunderbird pop up that are needed to do things in a very small window that is not able to resize. And hence not able in some cases to close out the window.
Thus on this particular incident, I cannot close the message I want to close out. I don't need it so I would just discard it. This pop up would say something to the effect do you want to cancel this message?
But as you can see there are no button. I cannot close out the screen as I need to press a button but it is not available.
This is Version 102.3.3. I am also getting Bogus messages from time to time telling me I need to manually upgrade Thunderbird but when I download it is 102.3.3. What happened to auto update?
So to close out this window, I go to Sysinternals Process Explorer and find the remaining Mozilla program and kill the remaining Thunderbird. The main Thunderbird I am able to close. But this new message remains due to this pop up artifact.

Recently we've changed the server provider and consequently the server settings - from mini.superhosting.bg to imap.titan.email The thing is that we've started receiving new emails to the new server but the old emails, folders, contacts and settings left on the old one and we know that they are stored to our computer, in this case the path is C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\vpb9xsrq.default-release\ImapMail\mini.superhosting.bg
The thing is that we've tried to recover the old data with the ImportExportTools NG -> Import all messages from a directory -> also from its subdirectories but then it nothing happens. Could you help us out to do this because we didn't manage to do it?

The mail server responded: <XXXX@charter.net> sender rejected. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again.
I called my email server, Charter/Spectrum and they said everything looked okay on their end. I have read the support questions on this website and followed suggested ideas. Nothing helps. Before yesterday emails were sent without a problem. I have no idea where to go from here. Thanks for any help.

And who would do that kind of thing to users unless some malicious jerk wants to pressure the users into fighting his or her political programming battles with other net entities? Emails are coming through but the attachments have a 'Red X' before them and the text of the document has a strike through format. When you right click the attachment the options to save, open etc are all disabled or greyed out.

I am having issues with sending email to text, I used to be able to send out messages to (MobileNumber)@msg.koodomobile.com or to ((MobileNumber)@msg.telus.com with no issues, now I can not longer do this. I tested my other emails using Outlook and Gmail and they send without fail.

. I have used everyone of these, and Thunderbird just tells me a setting/user name/password isnt correct... Well, user and PW is correct, as it IS what I am using to log onto the web mail... . Have also tried the IMPORT selection.
