When deleting more than one email, I get the "not responding" message and a delay. Then it resumes working but it takes so long to delete email.

However with a new account and signature, the similar code refuses to show the graphic, which is clearly uploaded to the correct folder. I even try different folders and the graphic never shows up. I so not see anything wrong with this code - do you?

Then I got a page saying Thank you, Finish installing and enjoy Thunderbird. But there is no way to finish installing and I never got a download file. I've tried multiple times, nothing happens. I had been using Thunderbird as my email App for very long time. About a few years ago I stopped using it, due to some annoying errors.
I installed the new version a few days ago, however I am some issues:
1. I want to change the default email composing font type and font color. I made changes in the setting and config editor as well. When I start creating an email the font type and color shown is correct. However, as soon as I start typing the default takes over.
2. I have about 50, 000 emails, which I keep for references (ATT-Yahoo). Every evening all the messages disappear, except for about 2000. Then, in the mornings, I have to restart the app and it starts to download "AGAIN". Please advise.

I am having an issue with retrieving my email in Thunderbird. On laptop, using Version 140.2.0esr | Released August 19, 2025. No changes were made to Thunderbird settings. The email is showing up in the Comcast portal, but for now having it forwared to a Gmail account. Tried changing password in Comcast (and in Thuderbird) to no effect. Tried deleting my Comcast email account in Thunderbird and re-adding it, but no change. Can send out email fine, just receiving it is the issue.
Interestingly, I use BlueMail on my phone and it, too, has the same issue and will not retrieve from Comcast. Thanks in advance!

Hello; Windows 10 & current version of Thunderbird. I am trying to add Messages Filters to filter out spam (getting more and more of that!) but the "OK" button on the add message filter is below the bottom of the screen. The window cannot be raised or resized to make the button visible. Photo below. Moving window does not allow me to raise window above top of screen. Keyboard (Alt-Enter) / Move will not work. Changed windows screen size just makes window larger but button still below bottom of screen.
Non-functional work around. Highlight Message name. Press Shift-Tab TWICE. Press ENTER. UGLY!

It makes sense that you might want your signature text to change depending on who you are communicating with (employer, business, friend, etc).
In Outlook you can enter several signature texts, identified by a name. I sure would like to have that in Thunderbird!
Another possibility would be to circulate among several signature texts, just to "keep it fresh".

Need help setting up my domain name with godaddy and Thunderbird email client. need to get DNS Records from godaddy also. Having more trouble with this than I should, I think. I have already setup an email account on Thunderbird with earthlink/mindspring and icloud. No problems at all, in fact, both were very simple. But no so much with the domain name and godaddy. This started yesterday. Opening Thunderbird I get a popup saying its from Yahoo and it has my Yahoo mail address on it. If I delete that popup by clicking the upper right "X" another popup takes its place. And so, and so on. One popup after another all for various Yahoo products. Meanwhile Thunderbird can not be used - can't write, can't send and can't receive anything on Thunderbird.
What do I do??? If I reinstall Thunderbird I will loose all my saved emails, and anyway will that work???
I have run my antivirus, checking my whole disks, and nothing.

Please tell me what the difference is between "size on disk" and "user quota"? I don't understand why my mailbox is full when all folders take only 1/5 of the available space. My hosting give me 5GB, a user quota in mailbox is 4.7GB (in the app for computer: the main folder containing all other folders - properties folder - Quota - Storage: 4.7GB), size on disk is 853MB (in the app for computer: the main folder containing all other folders - properties folder - General Information - Size on disk: 853MB), and the weight of all folders is ~1040MB (the sum of the weights of all individual folders in the main folder). None of the numbers match. I understand that the sum of the weights of all folders is probably supposed to be 853MB, that the discrepancy is due to rounding the numbers. I understand that some space may be "lost" from the hosting because installation files take up some space, so I actually have 4.7GB to use, not 5GB. However, I don't understand why my mailbox is full, when from 4.7 GB only 853 MB is used?
