After clicking the Thunderbird to enter my email the whole system goes through connecte3d to uepat624@gmail.com then up comes a message from Thunderbird indicating "you may have too many cached connections use IMAP Advanced Settings to reduce cached connections"
Then things continue on for probably 5 to 10 mins. sending login info, looking up IMAP, checking mail server capabilities, looking for folders, sending login, opening folder box, downloading
Eventually email inbox and messages come up. I can send, receive and send mass mailings but when you read a message and want to go back to the inbox you have to scroll all the little boxes at the top of the screen back to the one that says "inbox".
I need someone to remove the cached connections. Pat Blackburn
