After a variable time-frame, from few minutes to a couple of hours maximum of usage, the app freezes.

It is possible to close it from the drawer and restart it after a while. The problem always recurs.

Sometimes the phone also reboots itself. Approximately once every 5/10 freezes.

The problem does not seems dependent on updates, add-ons or other phone options.

The problem is present since I bought the phone in August. After a few months of tests I'm fairly sure this is a problem related only to the Firefox app.

You ppl really need to fix FF mobile to allow connection to Arris routers!

This is all the new TLS standard problem. Arris does not have any update to Arris routers!

There a workaround on desktop but you're completely screwed on mobile!

I've noticed since I've replaced my Samsung tablet with a newer version (S6 Lite running Android 12) that this version of Firefox is not picking up the favicon on my website. When I save the website shortcut to my homescreen, instead of the favicon Firefox is picking up the first image it finds on the page.

So - if I save all five webpages of my website to my tablet, each will have a different image - and none of them will be my favicon. The image from my tablet screen, attached (5 rows x 6 icons, against a beach backdrop) - shows three of the pages from my website, circled in yellow. You can see that none of them have picked up my fish favicon, and some of them have picked up the Etsy image link instead.

This problem of the favicon being ignored isn't being replicated elsewhere - my PC (very ancient, running an up to date Firefox browser) shows the favicon in the browser toolbar and on the homescreen, and my Samsung phone (equally ancient, running an up to date Chrome browser) shows the generic alphabet letter icon when the website is saved to my homescreen (this is not a problem, I'm just mentioning it). Is there a simple fix for the favicon being overridden, or a workaround? I'd be grateful if someone could explain why it's happened and what I can do to fix it. I'm conscious that if someone saved my website to their browser using just the favicon and no text, as I do, they might simply delete it if they don't recognise the favicon. Thanks in advance. I had a little over 100 tabs open on Firefox, and they disappeared when I opened the app. I did not close them, I have auto-close set to never and inactive tabs turned off. They're not in my recently closed section, although the tabs I did close during my last session were there. The individual websites are still in my history.

This has been randomly happening for almost a year now, but this is the second time this month. My tabs keep disappearing with no warning and no apparent way to get them back, and it's always when I'm over 100 tabs. The weird thing is I've been over 400 tabs before with no issues, so idk why barely over 100 now is an issue. Why does this keep happening? Is there a way to get my tabs back?

My firefox on samsung android phone just suddenly closed all of my tabs on its own which were waaaay over 100 tabs... no update or crash or anything.... i didn't close the tabs either.... just suddenly all gone.. and this is the 2nd time this happens within a year or 2... exact same thing! Unbelievable!! This is unacceptable!! If i did it by mistake then its my fault but all my tabs just totally disappeared suddenly on their own. What can i do? How do i know what caused this? How can i recover them? And no sync..

I tried clearing all cache and deleting all cookies to no avail.

Was painstakingly transferring my collections of bookmarked links from my old Android phone to my new one (please fix this so entire collections can be moved as one, rather than individual components). Not halfway through yet; all was going well, and suddenly I got the message "Unable to send - Retry." Multiple tries; no further success. Nothing had changed re the wifi connection for either phone. Hoping this is something simple.

This problem has kept annoying me for months now: When I load my youtube subscriptions page on my tablet, Firefox keeps kicking me over to the mobile site (m.youtube.com instead of www.youtube.com) which is bloody annoying. Changing the m to www manually will do me no good, it gets changed back to m as soon as i hit enter. Turning on the desktop site switch in the menu will only work temporarily, it's only a matter of time before I get kicked back to the mobile site. It's not a question of IF it happens, it's a question of WHEN it happens.

The thing is that this ONLY happens with youtube in Firefox on my tablet, but not in Firefox on my phone, my computer or other websites, and it does not happen in opera on the tablet either. That tells me that it is a Firefox problem (maybe some setting?), not a YouTube problem.

So why does Firefox do this, and how can I stop it?

PS. It's the latest version of Firefox on a galaxy tab s2 running Android 7. No, updating to a newer version of Android is not an option :-( Thanks, Samsung!

Why i can't resume downloading when I close Firefox browser for Android The download bar disappears from the notification panel ? It's better if active downloads appear on the downloads page so that we can manage them

When I replicate this with the same site in Chrome it does not do this, it stays open in Chrome. it only happens in Firefox
