Every time a youtube video is placed on landscape mode on the firefox app of my android phone it becomes a single blurred image with the audio playing as normal.

Youtube seems to work fine on other browsers and I have tried all basic fixes, like deleting cache/data/reinstalling app etc. Appreciate any help.

Edit. Okay I managed to fix the issue so I'm adding the solution here in case anyone runs into this problem. Apparantly youtube playback decided to enable "ambient mode", a feature I didn't even know existed and seems to not play well with a phones resolution.

Just click the settings gear while the video is playing in landscape (mine is on the top right) and disable the "Ambient mode" feature.

I just downloaded an extension of a particular app. It's expected that the app automatically connects with the browser as I click to join them but it keeps failing. How do I rectify this?

I currently have MozillaVPN & would like to also get Relay, but for some reason I can't take advantage of the current combo price deal for both. Is it even possible, since I have the VPN already? If it is, what's the process I should follow to be able to have both services at the currently offered special price? If it matters, I'm on the monthly payment schedule for the VPN & will need to continue that if I can bundle with Relay. My finances are limited, so a lump-sum yearly subscription is out of my league. Many thanks to anyone who reads this & can offer me some advice or at least point me in the right direction! (Even if the answer is "That's not possible.")

Through lunch overboard I can't employee problems Chrome to Firefox on the same Samsung A7 or my A8 tablet. I followed directions and cannot call me most people think ing we got to help.

Have installed Firefox on Windown 11 PC , Android mobile and Android tablet. Bookmarks seem to sync across devices but i like the speed dial feature as used on Vivaldi. This only appears to work on desktop as an add on but doesnt sync to the Android devices. I then discovered Collections on my Android phone which seemed ideal. Set it up and then found it didnt sync to any of the other devices. Can this be done. If not going back to Vivaldi. Very dissapointed as it seems to be a really fast browser.

My Android Firefox consums 53% of the battery. See Screenshot. It was not in use. Standard browser is Firefox klar. There are no addons installed. The app was removed and newly installed several times. How can I fix the problem?

I have a strong phone sd 870 and 6gb ram so need to put the blame on that.. but this browser keeps refreshing the webpage as soon as I leave to other apps.. yes I tried with no battery restrictions but didn't solve the problem

going to the battery usage shows that firefox is using a lot of cpu no background refresh, high number of wifi data.

developers of Firefox could add few options for users

1. if there are multiple tabs make all inactive and only the active tab consume data

2. use compression engine so that less data is sent over the wire 3. dont auto play audio or video 4. use new os level power management https://developer.android.com/about/versions/14/behavior-changes-all

I'm experiencing an issue with my website where the glass doors for shower services are not displaying correctly in Mozilla Firefox. The site works fine on other browsers, but in Firefox, the GBM (Glass Door Service) content is not showing up. Recently I migrated to Firefox to get rid of the unbearable heavy load of ads on Chrome and would be satisfied with such change if it was not by the slow way Firefox handles Youtube player. As I touch to maximize the screen it is a painful process : the image rotates to a smaller rectangle and after some seconds finally fills up the screen. Once in full screen video player control no longer works. The same did not occur with Chrome , in full screen I used to have control. I noticed previously on my desktop running Windows 10 that Fireworks it is much slower to go full screen on Youtube and to exit full screen. I think Firefox handles with more difficulty the Youtube player than Chrome , or perhaps I am missing something. Unfortunately I think I will have to return to Chrome on Android.

I am getting a frequent freeze in the Android app and then shortly after a crash. Info: - happens on FF, FF Beta, and FF Nightly,and reinstall/phone reset didn't fix. - Samsung Galaxy SM-G965U running Android 10. - every error starts with java.lang.OutofMemoryError. - it never happens just on startup, just on auto fill, or some of the similar crash reports I've seen around here. - it does appear to be site-specific, but sometimes the site works and sometimes it does not: if I close the last tab after a crash, it will usually work for awhile. - Sync and disabling Add-ons doesnt fix it, although perhaps its worse with uBlock Origin enabled (not conclusively)

For a while I have the problem that when I want to watch a video fullscreen on a website e.g. youtube, inline video etc. Firefox stops and completely closes. This is only the first time when I play the video. When I re-open the browser I can continue watching the video fullscreen without any problem. I don't receive any error messages.

Attached the specs of my phone and Firefox browser.
