Firefox for Android Support Forum

I used to have bookmarks and other sites I've pinned to the home page on firefox android.

Now every page I visit is showing? Not just the site, but every page on that site, every search result. It's just junk pages filling my home page.

I'm hoping this is a bug and not some attempt to decide for me what I want on my home screen. It's really frustrating.

The only way around is to clear history on exit - but history is used - i just dont need every page i see being on my home screen.

(also the language at the bottom doesn't allow me to choose my language - English - ENGLISH. I don't speak US english.)

Any time I touch my Samsung screen (without even passing security fingerprint) a Firefox message pops up

I’m using Firefox Daylight 100.1.1.

1. Youtube videos are not loading correctly in firefox android in full screen mode, only 3/4 of the video gets displayed rest gets hided. 2. Rotation of the screen while watching video based on gyroscope can be made.

I AM SICK OF FREEZES. I was able to get out of a freeze by closing the browser but when I opened the browser back I got the message Firefox still running at first it was the box with only the edges no writing I left it for a while the the box was populated I clicked shut down and then it restarted I gc and cc in memory and I saved all reports then it froze again. I had to shut down with the power button. This is the first time it has done this way. I have the gz files EASE HELP DONT JUST TELL ME NOBODY ELSE HAS THIS ISSUE.

First it was things like being unable to use GIF toolbar to enter a gif comment on Facebook. Now I cant use the react button(like, heart. Lol,sad. Frown.)

Whats up firefox?

Firefox is using an awful lot of power. Currently with no tabs open it's using 38% against Chrome's 13% and I've had 45% earlier today. I've never checked apps for power consumption previously so that might be normal, but it sure looks like heavy usage. With 6 tabs open, Samsung Internet browser is using 1%.

It's the same for both browsers after a restart. It's an Honor 8A phone, Android 9. I re-installed FF and it's version 101.1.1 When I re-installed FF it was initially only 18% but its gone up and stayed up.

There are settings under App Launch to manage app launch automatically to save battery power by preventing some launches, but it doesn't affect things.

At one point I thought the problem was synchronisation with my FF account, but I just signed out of both FF account and also Youtube, restarted, just the same. When I signed into Youtube in Samsung internet browser it went up to 1.14%

ADDED LATER. I left the phone on and charging overnight. In the morning FF was 9% while Chrome and Samsung browser didn't even appear in the battery useage listing. As soon as I opened a couple of pages in FF, it shot up to 48%.

What else can I check? Is there anything I can do? The Honor battery only just gets through the day anyway, so this is a problem.

My configuration page is not opening. Whenever I write about:config it sometimes not open and sometimes just show black screen. Please tell me what to do. Without Javascript my other sitea are not working properly.

My tabs have been ballooning like crazy because of this. I like the feature firefox has to resume browsing where you left off, however, it's been very frustrating to manage lately because of this.

Basically, say i have 10 tabs open, i close out of 5 of the tabs and then exit the app, when i reboot the app, those 5 tabs will be back open and i will have 10 tabs open once again!

Any ideas what might be up with this?

Firefox password manager has amnesia. Unlock Firefox with my thumbprint. Nothing happens? I keep falling for it too. I'm way too optimistic. Wish someone would invent software bug spray! That would not work!! Microsoft would vanish & X-Bill would be a reality.

If i want looking Videos on twitch or youtube, they are not displaed not correctly on fullscreen. the horezontly sides are be cuted of. i have no idea how i can fix this.

on opera works it correctly...
