I just installed Firefox on a new Windows 11 desktop computer. I ported my profiles over and it appears everything came over EXCEPT: - Themes aren't working. I've tried switching them and they still don't display. The menu bar is black w/white letters; the toolbar is gray with white icons/letters. - My extension icons are there...sort of. If I hover over them I can see the tool tip but the icon doesn't appear on the toolbar which is light gray in color. I can live without the themes if I have to. Not so much the invisible extension icons. Any suggestions as to how I can get them to appear as they do on my Windows 10 desktop? Screen cap below. Cursor is hovered over the Undo Close Tab extension icon but where's the icon? Any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot this will be appreciated!!

So, I installed a new hard drive about a week ago and while re-installing things I also re-installed the Firefox Browser 64- bit. Strangely, it seems like the files did not install itself in the right areas or the files installed did not install themself in the right or normal places. It does work, but for some reason I don't see it's program files? Is this normal or something that happens?

Anyways, I've backed-up my bookmarks, and I am going to uninstall it, re-boot, and re-install it and see what happens I guess. Or should I uninstall Firefox and its Profile Folders also, etc, and than re-install it?

i have been using Tor.browser as my default web browser on Macbook for months. Firefox is my 2nd, but two days ago, i was kicked out of Tor, cannot download/use it anymore and the reasons given are as follows:

"Tor.browser quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information." Ignore Report Reopen (options)

when i have deleted and tried to re-install tor browser, I get the notification that

"Tor Browser quit unexpectedly". No matter what I do

 (I have since done both, obviously & have tried many other things, including trying to Time Travel, which I am not 100% sure how to yet).  the Report states Firefox is responsible for blocking Tor.  how did this happen and suggestions on how to fix.  I have to access Tor to find some pertinent files etc. I have stored there.  thanks

After updating a W10 laptop from 115 to 116 of FF the user started having problems with getting to different websites (sites they worked on/with regularly). The problem is the cert DB. The doc I found says that it is cert8.db. Actually it is now cert9.DB.

What I had to do was go to task manager and kill a task that was holding the cert9.db file. Then I could rename it (cert9.old.db). Then restarted their laptop and FF came up and started fixing the cert file (as expected). This seems to have fixed their problem.

I have downloaded and installed Mozilla Firefox on a new computer through the Edge browser both from the Mozilla site and through the Microsoft store. The installation downloads and installs as it should. Firefox has been selected as the default browser and everything appears as it should. When I open Firefox and type in an address, nothing populates. No site will open on the screen. When I open settings in Firefox, nothing opens. When I open history, it shows that I have been to the sites that I have loaded even though they haven't shown on the browser. I have completely uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it with the same result. I have downloaded Opera browser and it installs correctly, I have downloaded and installed Firefox from Opera and had the same result. Any ideas?

This is my first post so bare with me.  :-)

We are deploying the 32-bit version of the Firefox Browser to 4 700 clients and the 64-bit version to only 8 clients; all clients on a 64-bit Windows 10 environment. We will migrate to Windows 11 22H2 this year. The manager for the 8 clients says he wants the 64-bits version just because it's...64-bits. No other reason.

I've read that the 64-bit version can not handle Java, Media Players like VLC and mayby some other plugins. Is that still so?

What is the main reason TODAY for using 64-bit Firefox Browser instead of 32-bit, except for the use of 4 GB+ RAM?

Firefox automatically updated itself to version 126.0 (64-bit) and it was unable to display any web sites.

First I disabled Mozilla VPN but that did not fix my issue. Next, I disabled Microsoft Defender firewall software to no effect.

Finally I updated the shortcut to Firefox on my taskbar to launch the browser. This fixed my issue.

Hopefully, this will save other users from the same pain.

My computer updated with no warning one night, and i lost all personalization and even everything stored in my firefox, the sign ins, passwords, bookmarks, all. is there a way for me to find all that was erased?

I have not been able to sign in to my firefox account. I recently re-installed windows and tried to log in in firefox but its giving the error "The request was blocked for security reasons". How do i fix it? Help me i have important bookmarks and websites that i don't want to lose.

Automatic update on my Windows 10 desktop of the the new update 127.0.1 resulted in a version of Firefox that worked more or less for some web sites but was unable to reach others.'

I want to install the older version of Mozilla firefox for windows 11 in Spanish and Dutch language, please provide the link for Spanish and Dutch for ex. 125 version of Mozilla Firefoz

I use Using Video Download Ultimate add on in Firefox. It works great on most websites, but it will not connect and download from "https://yeahmovies.to/home" or "https://ww5.cmovies.co/movies/". Will you rectify this, or teach a work around to me?

Why am I getting these notifications? I have the latest version, but this prompt not only asks me to update, but there's no mention that it will install the beta 125.0 beta 1

I had the situation maybe a year ago. I use the Firefox profile manager.

I just updated to 127.02, and now not I'm getting this because for whatever reason, since the update, I am somehow on the beta channel, but only with this profile. I just opened two other profiles, and neither is on the beta channel, although i don't know what "Firefox is being updated by another instance" means.

I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but I'm also just noticing that a number of my addons settings have reverted to default.
