It usually happens when I loading page or watching video on YouTube/ Bahamut Anime(ani.gamer.com.tw). When it occurs, the video still can play until the video cache empty, and after switching to another and switching back, the page becomes all white except a loading circle at the center. This situation takes about 3~5 minutes. I have tried refresh firefox, and disable all addons.

In the past I used to be able to turn encrypted sni on I did a firefox reset yesterday then I reinstalled my add ons
and I re-enabled encrypted sni by setting: about:config network.security.esni.enabled = true
but when I test it on https://www.cloudflare.com/ssl/encrypted-sni/ the test takes a lot longer and also everything is green except esni: "Your browser did not encrypt the SNI when visiting this page."
So something is clearly wrong, but I don't know what it is.
how do I fix this?

I do not use the majority of keyboard controls in Firefox-- only Ctrl+F. Lately, I've noticed that using Ctrl+I in editor windows also pops up the Page Info window, which I have never used on purpose and am perfectly comfortable accessing via Firefox's menubar.
I have been searching for over an hour, and every Firefox add-on that I can find to fix this problem has been removed.
Ideally, I would like to be able to configure all of my keyboard shortcuts, but practically I will settle for being able to disable Ctrl-B, Ctrl-I, and Ctrl-U.
I can't use whats web for update mozilla firefox.please its too much important fom me.and i want to contact with you for solve this problem.
Thank you
How to download Firefox?
This is clearly a repeat of your bizarre bug from 2019. When will you release a fix?

attempting to login to Firefox sync I'm told the system has just locked my account - which is odd because I just logged in with the account to log this issue. Message is : "Sorry. We’ve locked your account.
The confirmation email we sent to xxxxxx@gmail.com was returned and we’ve locked your account to protect your Firefox data.
If this is a valid email address, let us know and we can help unlock your account."
There is nothing wrong with my gmail account either - I checked gmail is not bouncing mail back sent to my address.

Hello good people, This is rather a request for advice than an issue report. I' ve learned about the facebook container add-on and wanted to know if there is a need for it if someone was making sure to exclusively open facebook.com in its own profile. Say you set up a profile(from about:profiles) namely "BIg Brothers" for notorious trackers like google, facebook , twitter etc so they can perpetually track each other with simple rules to observe like : - Never open an external(shared) link - Never access any other website through that profile.
Is there a particular feature the add-on is bringing up that the native interface is missing ? The other reason is add-ons are great but they tend to bloat the system impeding the browsing experience. I am the kind of guy who opens 7 concurrent tabs each running heavy js code so the lighter the better.
Thank you in advance,
Dom

I'm running the most recent Firefox in both the 18.04 and 20.04 releases of Ubuntu. I cannot log into either Gmail, or Slack. I believe this is a version problem because on an older, CentOS 7 operating system and Firefox, this is not a problem. I have tried removing history, to no avail.

Hi! Chrome based browsers (like chromium or Vivaldi) permit to obtain 96KHz or even 192KHz float 32bit audio output. Firefox stuck at float32le 48KHz. This is not sufficient for me. i have a Linux LinuxMint 20 on a STRIX Z270G audio chip @ 96KHz and headsets like Sennheiser HD650 and GRADO RS1e so able to perfectly perceive the effects of harmonics up to frequency my chip can produce (96KHz band pass).
Question: Is possible in Firefox 78 for Linux to change the max frequency from 48KHz to 96KHz maintaining the float32le setup?
Thank you to all advices!

I've just switched to Firefox as Chrome keeps lagging. I'm running Fedora 31 and the latest version of Firefox 76.0.1.
When I use the 2 fingered scrolling and take my fingers off the touchpad, the page keeps scrolling until it slowly slows down and eventually stops or hits the end of the page. It doesn't then stop when I place my fingers back on the touchpad, so it just carries on regardless to another part of the page. It's ludicrous as it just goes past whatever I'm trying to look at! If I keep my fingers on the touchpad it stays put but as soon as I take them off, it's off on it's jollies again.
Is there anyway to disable this? I've unchecked smooth scrolling and autoscrolling. I've never had Firefox behave like this before on any Linux distro.

My Top Sites works well if there is a short name under the tile or I recognize the thumbnail. In other cases I see something like "Websu..." as the title. Hover over that and I should see a tooltip with the long name completed.
Is it possible for Firefox to put tooltips for when the name ends in "...?"
Is there another work-around I can use -- create a thumbnail that better identifies the site is one that comes to mind. Rename the site with a shorter name?
Thank you.

Every time I open Firefox it takes approximately 4 minutes before doing anything. I've a 4 core with 8 gb of RAM, my cpu usage stays at 12-15% and RAM use is 1.2 gb during these 4 minutes. Firefox seems just waiting. It's not freezed, just waiting. I can open as many new tabs I want, type an address and hit ENTER, and FF will show the gray dot moving (like it hasn't reached the network, because then, when it starts to load the page, the dot becomes blue). After FF "wakes up" everything gets normal, I can use it normally. The issue is only after closing and reopening FF. During the 4 minutes sleeping time, the network works, I can ping and use other browsers. I'm on linux mint 19.3, FF is 75 (but I had the same problem with former versions too). I once did a FF reset, and it was ok for the first boot or two. But then I linked my FF sync account (I use it for: bookmarks, tabs, passwords, addons, preferences, not history) and I got back to my problem. As for the addons I only have "multi account containers" and "video download helper" (just 2!). Additionally I enabled the build-in anti tracking feature. I'm sure something is working wrong.. Can you help me??
