Hi,

Recently, I have noticed that when using Firefox, if I try to view an embedded YouTube video on sites that I visit regularly, instead of the embedded video playing, I now get a message on the video window that says, "Sign-in to confirm you are not a Bot. However, there is no option to 'sign-in', so I am not able to view the video. (screenshot attached)''

I did a little testing and discovered 2 things which I thought were noteworthy:

1) If I turned-off my VPN (Norton), then the embedded video plays in Firefox without any issues.

2) If I access the same site within the Chrome browser then the embedded video play regardless of whether I have the VPN service On or Off.

Strange, but true !!

I cannot find any Firefox Settings that address this issue.

I am running Firefox 126.0-1 on an Arch Linux system. Most websites are failing to connect for security reasons.

Some sites, including google.com and nytimes.com, fail with an "SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER" error, and their certificates confirm that they are respectively issued by Google Trust Services LLC and DigiCert Inc.

The website archlinux.org errors with "MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_MITM_DETECTED", stating that "Software is Preventing Firefox From Safely Connecting to This Site", citing in particular ISRG Root X1 as the problem. The certificate confirms that it is issued by Let's Encrypt.

The website duckduckgo.com simply errors with "SEC_ERROR_PATH_LEN_CONSTRAINT_INVALID" and states "Secure Connection Failed"

I have confirmed in preferences that my proxy settings are set to "No proxy" and the problem persists across troubleshooting mode and making a new profile. I have also tried removing the cert9.db file in a given profile folder.

I am on endeavourOS (linux). Whenever I try to upload images for a profile picture to sites like youtube or X, the image becomes corrupted and doesn't upload correctly. It did this with whatsapp too and I had to use a separate app for it. Other posts said that disabling "privacy.resistFingerprinting" would fix it, but it's already disabled.

Attached below are an example of this bug and the contents of this image when viewed on a text editor.

I am trying to configure Firefox on macOS to not prompt the user to make it the default browser.

Here's the behaviour I'm seeing:

1. Firefox starts to an `about:blank` tab, however there is a second "Firefox Privacy Notice" tab
2. AppleScript quits Firefox
3. Firefox starts to an `about:blank` tab, however it is now prompting me to make it the default browser

I do not want Firefox to prompt the user to become the default browser.

My ideal scenario is that Firefox starts without the "Firefox Privacy Notice" tab and without prompting me to make it the default browser. From the observed behaviour, this doesn't seem possible.

Can anyone tell me how I can accomplish this without user interaction or MDM?

I am trying to add a password to the password manager for a specific URL like https://example.com/page. However after I save the password it save it to the address https://example.com and removes /page. Is there a way to change this?

Hi, I just installed Windows 11, version 24H2 and now in Firefox I'm continually prompted with "Awaiting Location Permission, Grant Firefox location permission in system settings".

The problem that location has been turned off by admin on this computer. How can I stop these continual prompts from Firefox? I have checked the box in Settings to block location requests from new websites but am still getting the prompts.

I've added https://x.com as an exception site but it is still blocked.

This is outright censorship which is something [edited] do.

Tell me how to fix your browser so I may access x.com again or I stop using Firefox forever.

hello, i recently went from google browser to firefox, and i want to import my passwords. i did save all my passwords from google browser to .csv file, but when i go to settings>import passwords, it lets me choose the file, i choose my passwords.csv, and then-nothing happens. no loading, browser doesnt stop working, my folder where i choose csv from is just closing, but passwords doesnt import

I have unsubscribed from all newsletter after receiving the first email but days later I'm still getting emails from Firefox (e.g. Superpower #4: See if your info has been leaked).

This is an incredibly bad user experience and to my knowledge illegal in the EU.

I'm probably still within that journey but the journey should terminate the moment I clicked unsubscribed.

Why does this pop up make. it past Firefox's blocker. Of course it's a scam also. Always pops up after midnight, I am a Windstream customer and they don't know anything about it but it looks official

Any way I can block them?

Malwarebytes keeps blocking Mozilla files that seem to originate from it's folder in my laptop as riskware. Is this something I should make exceptions for? Or is it riskware. I'm running Win 11

bsky.app cookie continues to be loaded on computer even after I continually delete it, privacy set to strict and blocked under "managed exceptions, why is it being reloaded when I don't access the site. None of the sites I access are linked to it, only visited once and if this alternative to x continues to set cookies, how can I permanently block it, thought the exceptions list was supposed to keep blocking it. So far it's come back three times, I'll screenshot it next time and attach.

The only reason I have been using firefox all this time because it does not use ai features and has more trustworthy policies for user data. Given the recent ceo change and his opinions about ai features if it is true and ai is added I will stop using this browser and I know a lot of people will also do it.

i need set a default exception website for pop-up blocker settings fore every firefox install. or completely disable pop-up blocker settings as default.

what can i do for this purpose?
