There is "show in folder" menu for file in downloads. And it will launch my file manager at the parent folder for the selected download file.

There are so many files in my downloads folder, so i would like the specific file to be autoselected. My file manager support this if i pass the filename as parameter in the commandline.

However, seems that firefox only pass the parent folder path to my file manager in the "show in folder". However can i customize firefox so that it will pass the full file name to my file manager when i click "show in folder", and my file manager will open the parent folder with the specific file autoselected.

I use Firefox on Raspberry pi os. I have a lot of help files saved in mht format. How can I open these files in Firefox? Chrome supports such files without additional configuration, but I would not like to use this browser on Raspbian, since it consumes much more resources than Firefox. It is undesirable to use a different format.

When I type my last name using shift + first letter, it always comes out in lower case, which wastes my time correcting. How do I set it back to using upper case with shift +?

How do I import the firefox passwords I saved as csv file from firefox into firefox. I am not importing from a different browser which is the only option offered. I'm importing from the newly created csv file as instructed by firefox.

Hello, Ive recently switched my primary browser from opera GX, to Mozilla Firefox. Since then I've adjusted the settings to my liking, one of which was the search engine. I chose google chrome, and it works when I open a new tab, However, When I open a new window of firefox, it always opens Bing. This is a small problem, yes, but its simple issues like this that dissuade me from wanting to use firefox at all, I would like to solve this issue, but Ive searched for answers, and there aren't any. If you help me fix this, I will keep firefox. Otherwise, I'll chose a browser that gives me the amount of control that I want. I've also attached a photo of the startup screen of firefox.

Since installing Avast Plus I can't sign on to some accounts to pay my bills, such as Rocket Mortgage and Synchrony. I have to go to Microsoft Edge in order to pay these bills.

'why are there false tabs open when i restore the session? i know wich ones were open yesterday and today it click on firefox and all tabs are wrong. tabs i didnt use fore months are opend wtf can i do????

I read this article on enabling/disabling hardware acceleration and I am missing the checkbox to toggle it. I am wondering if this is a firefox bug or if something about my hardware setup is unsupported. I'm using a 1080ti running on the most recent drivers, 546.33. Windows 10 Education version 22H2

After the last couple of updates Firefox will not wrap words in view source screen(CTRL+U). This makes the info very difficult to read as most lines of code run off the screen. How do fix this? Thanks.

Hello, I want your help! Because I want to change the appearance of checkboxes to toggles without affecting the other checkboxes (like rounded checkboxes) using userChrome.css in Firefox.

For the past week or two, all links sent to me via email open to blank pages. In other words, I click a link in an email and am taken to a completely white, blank page in a new tab of my Firefox browser. I've tried clearing my cache but that didn't resolve the issue. I figure it's time to ask for some help with this strange, frustrating issue so that I can open links emailed to me. I've attached a screenshot of one of the emails this happens with. It's been happening with a company called Geru as well as the one in the screenshot, but I've found that links from the Epoch Times for instance work fine. Please advise, thanks!

Hi Mozilla Suport teams, i am currently using the mozilla for the developer version and the app runs flawlessly, and i love it. But i have some suggestion for the developer at mozilla to make a tab that can group the tab into a fresh tab like the google chrome has, and since i open so many tab in this browser, i would absolutely love it where the feature of grouping tab is available for me, so i can group them in name and leave it there, rahter than open up more than 10+ tabs in a window. Often times when I open a new tab, I get a dot that goes back and forth and will not open the tab. This seems to happen if I don't use Firefox for a few minutes. It's like its trying to open but can't.

The fcitx input method works everywhere on my computer except Firefox. I've added the following to my etc/environment file, which is the main suggestion I found online: GTK_IM_MODULE=fcitx QT_IM_MODULE=fcitx XMODIFIERS=@im=fcitx But it still doesn't work. My operating system is KDE neon 5.27.
