I keep getting Mozilla Firefox Pop Up Windows stating my System is infected via

nvtyk.magmaartisan.top.

I have run windows defender and avg anti-virus software to check my computer which cannot find a problem.

I have also tried to find where this is being called from within Firefox settings and windows services.

How do I get rid of this, am I infected and what can happen?

hello

since few years im a bit surprised by the fact, that on firefox, it's harder and harder to do the following customisation : -enable or disable javascript -enable or disable pictures of webpages

the thing is, years ago it was just a one-click setting to change, and now it's looks like to be needed either to go on nerdly-menu (about:config, and know by heart the right one), or to use an addon (that i dont want)

do you know if there is a possibility, for an offline computer (mean bye addons), without going to about:config, to enable/disable both Javascript feature, and picture of webpages?

it's the same for customised search engine : years ago it was faisable with just entering the address of a new one into the common settings, now it's looks like an addon is required.... why?!

years ago no addon nor connection was needed to : -en/disable JS -en/disable images/pictures on webpages -add/remove search engine

..why?

thank you vm

Firefox 49 says; "The owner of .. has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website. Actually tis is a government site. Almost all helpers advise "enter about:config" then find change "security.enterprise_roots.enabled" from the list opened, and then chance the value from "false" to "true". But, there is no "security.enterprise_roots.enabled" in the list ???

I would like to know why Firefox will not open links on certain websites. I am able to browse to these sites just fine. However, while navigating through said sites, sometimes links will not open. They do open in MS Edge and Google Chrome. One example is on the Kreg Tool website - https://www.kregtool.com/shop/workspace/bench-system-components/universal-bench-base-with-standard-height-legs/BENCH-BASE-STANDARD.html - I am not able to select the bench size from the drop down list. Firefox goes into a loop then I have to refresh to get out of the loop. Hopefully someone can explain this or provide a workaround.

Thanks much.

Since Mozilla released the 119.0 build of Firefox, I have noticed that scrolling Youtube Shorts doesn't work. I can watch the first short and scroll to the second but trying to scroll past that causes the video to jump back up to the first video. The same thing happens when I try to scroll through emails using my ISP web based email client. I can see the first five emails on the list but if I try to scroll further it jumps back up to the first five. I have tried refreshing Firefox and I have tried using the trouble shooting option under help and the scroll issues still happened in both. I have this issue on my laptop as well as this desktop and I even installed a different browser and in that browser scrolling works fine in both Youtube and the web based email client. I was unsure where to report this to Mozilla so I thought I would try here to see if anyone can help.

Hello Mozilla Support Team,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to seek assistance with a compatibility issue I am experiencing with the Mozilla Firefox browser. Specifically, I am encountering problems with my website, "Les Horaires de Prière en France" (https://leshorairepriere.fr/), which provides prayer times in France.

Here are the details of the issue:

Problem Description: When I try to access my website using Mozilla Firefox, I encounter certain problems such as slow loading times, layout distortion, or missing functionalities. This issue does not occur on other web browsers, and the website works perfectly fine on them. I would like to ensure that my website is compatible with Mozilla Firefox for a seamless user experience.

Mozilla Firefox Version: Could you please confirm whether my website is compatible with the latest version of Mozilla Firefox? I am currently using Mozilla Firefox version [Insert Your Firefox Version Here] to replicate the issue.

Specific Errors or Glitches: Please let me know if there are any specific error messages, glitches, or warnings that I should be aware of when accessing my website on Mozilla Firefox. This information would be crucial in diagnosing and resolving the issue.

Steps to Reproduce: Could you guide me through the steps to reproduce the issue on Mozilla Firefox? It would be helpful to have a detailed process to understand the problem better and work towards a solution.

Screenshots or Video Recording: If necessary, I can provide screenshots or video recordings of the issues I am encountering on Mozilla Firefox. Please let me know if this would assist in troubleshooting.

Recommendations and Fixes: I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to make my website compatible with Mozilla Firefox or any necessary changes that need to be implemented on my end. It is essential for me to ensure that my users can access the prayer times information without any hindrance on this popular web browser.

Browser Compatibility Testing: If you have the capability to test my website on Mozilla Firefox, I would appreciate it. Please let me know the results of your testing and any specific observations or recommendations.

Thank you for your time and assistance in resolving this compatibility issue. I look forward to your guidance and support to ensure a seamless experience for all users visiting my prayer times website on Mozilla Firefox.

Best regards, Ahamd Ezat

Only with Firefox (default) and Norton 360 My Norton page, the page does not recognize that the Password Manager is already set up and active. The Password Manager button erroneously shows "Set Up", and when pressed the surrounding oval turns blue and nothing else happens - forever! That button should say "Access Vault". Also, he Feature Setup incorrectly shows Password Manager as not being setup when it already is on, active, and functioning in other areas of Norton 360, and surprisingly through the Firefox browser extension NPM button. This apparent MY Norton syncing problem only happens with Firefox, not when using Edge or Chrome.

Recently I have run into an issue where any site I am logged into will not save that I am logged into that site if I close the tab or window. For example, if I am logged into YouTube, exit the tab, and open the same site in another tab, I then have to log into my account again.

I have tried this solution already: https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1342460, to no success.

I go to www.archive.org on a regular basis. Now though, all I get is a blank screen and when I click on the small figure at the address bar, I get the meassage "Connection not secure"

Why is this suddenly happening? In the week since I was there last, I have not changed any hardware or software.

Even though I discovered that "private mode" will get to that page, I like to keep my history file complete for when I need to refind something. I don't want to have to start using ":private mode" for browsing.

I really don't care if it is not a secure site. I trust it and want to go there. How do I override this so I can get back to a site that I have visited hundreds of times before this problem showed up?

BTW, cookies and caches have been cleared out. The computer has been rebooted. My internet connection has been reset (several times). The results have not changed. None of my other frequently visited sites does this. Only www.archive.org

Thank you.

About 3 months ago when logging in to my bank account on a windows PC using Firefox, the password was accepted but the account failed to open due to an error. Previously it worked like a charm, but my bank updated its security and it hasn't worked since. However if I perform the same operation on Google Chrome it works. I have a similar experience on a few other web sites. Is there something in my Firefox settings preventing this from happening? Cheers,

I installed a user.js script to my profile, and even after deleting the file itself, the settings keep changing to what it wants, despite the file being deleted.

I've been troubleshooting this for a few hours now, and i surmise it got embedded in my firefox account somehow, because when i close firefox in task manager i can see a bunch of firefox processes doing stuff for about 30 seconds, and if i launch firefox again after that my browser is messed up.

In window's firewall i set a rule to not let firefox send and receive packets and while a block on receiving didnt do anything, the block on firefox sending data did prevent it from applying that fking user.js script. However, if firefox cant talk to websites its obviously useless, so im stumped.

I have deleted every single folder on my computer firefox uses, including cleaning the registry of its things aswell, so it has to be downloading that script from some server, but i havent been able to figure out from where. I assume its attached to my firefox account because, where else could it be getting the script from?

When i was installing the user.js script, i had no clue it would be so damn hard to get rid of. Thank fuck i have a backup of my profile.

I have Windows 10 with current maintenance and current version of Firefox.

Don't know what the address bar is called, but I believe it once had a download icon. Am I mistaken?

Sometimes after I enter an address there will be an icon where I can download something. Is this website-dependent?
