Firefox crashes on Windows 10 immediately after launching without even showing the graphical user interface. The same happens when trying to launch firefox from the command line with the "-safe-mode" switch. Interestingly, this behaviour is for a certain user on the machine only. Another user can launch it normally. Tried deleting the profile, re-installing firefox. In the CrashReports folder, there is only a "InstallTime20220519220738" file with 10 bytes size (and an empty "events" folder. The content of the file is just the string "1653942123". Any ideas how to figure out the cause of the crash?

When I use another browser (Edge) there seems to be no problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I use a touch screen HP laptop. And when I shopping or just reading news and there is a picture on the page or site it pops up, even if I do not touch it. I can not see the text behind it. I know it is a setting some here because if i go to trouble shooting mode it does not happen. i have checked and unchecked every thing I can fine and nothing helps but trouble shooting mode. So when I close out and reopen Firefox trouble back. I have not tried other browsers because I only like Firefox

Hi I don't know what has happened to Firefox, I used it all the time for many years, now I can't sign in to Outlook and have more problems than ever. It asks me to sign into Microsoft but all I get is a blank page. Firefox was always more colourful than other browsers that's why I used it and nothing you do to try to fix this problem doesn't work, it creates more problems than it's worth, that's why I use Chrome, but I do want to use FF. Not all of us are IT experts and can't do all these complicated suggestions every web site offers, so can you make it so much easier for us to understand and for example get Outlook to open automatically as it used to do, until you can fix this I will have to use another browser. I really do like FF but it's impossible. Geoff.

I clicked on 'block cookies' option( never seen this before but I trust you guys so....) when I logged onto firefox this morning, since then there are various apps I cannot get on to, eg Twitter, my banking through Nationwide, very frsutrating. So I tried to set a restore point prior to thios morning but that made no dofference, getting desperate now.

I have 2 questions after the upgrade ( If that is what they call it). #1. Getting all my apps re-setup , I noticed that some were not showing up on the bar to the right of my search bar. #2. When I open FF it only opens with a half page on the left. This next jusy a polite general question. After the uproar about fvd suspension, why did FF feel the need to do it again? What I mean is why did they wipe out All my apps and deleted other programs I had BOUGHT and now having trouble getting downloaded again when they were working perfectly before 100? Are these programs also considered "Dangerous". Sorry. Could you give me an approved FF alternative to FVD and I don't mean this piece of garbage that is on your web page. You wanna throw something against the screen every time you look at it.; UGLY!!!!

I cannot find the right thing to change in about :config to stop the address bar stealing all my searches, it is quite irritating. I have just bought two new computers and on first I managed eventually, but have been 8 hours trying to figure it out ( as in what I did before) I am not tech savvy so only managed before by searching info online. Can anyone help with this ?

Hi guys, lately with one of the updates to firefox I've had something new crop up and I desperately want to get rid of it. When I save something from the internet to my computer there is a dropdown box that shows up from the downloads icon, which is on my address bar. (I'm assuming this is firefox and not windows.) It just annoys me and sometimes gets in the way. Help please?

upon enabling "do not connect to http" very, very, very often i got the attached error message when the site said it was https and it was very often reliable places like my bank and TaxAct. It seemed like such a good idea but i quit out of frustration.

I am unable to log onto easy jet in firefox, the site freezes. when i use opera i have had no problems. this has occurred since your last update. Can you help? Alan

The Washington Post has a feature on some articles called "Listen", where the article is read aloud on the device audio. I often use this because my vision is not as good as it used to be, and I can listen while I perform other tasks (e.g., cook). I do use the Malwarebytes add-on, but it doesn't work even when I disable it and the FF tracking protection is turned off.

It does work in both Edge and Chrome, with Malwarebytes enabled.

This is very disappointing ...

Will the latest update now being nagged about delete logins for web sites and apps Firefox has done with the last few updates? Second, why doesn't Firefox disclose WHY an update is needed first (so a user can make his or her own mind up)? These questions beg another important one: if Firefox believes all the constant updates are so important, first, why don't they get them all done at once and quit piecemealing them out? Dishing them out in smaller updates often could easily leave the impression that someone doesn't know what he's doing ... and I'd like not to believe that about Firefox.

Hi there! Well, another company told my business partner that their product does not like Firefox so we should use Chrome and maybe Edge. First, that is a crock, but seems to be a standard answer from anyone in the business world, sadly. I would not trust Edge or Chrome, especially those two, if they were the last platforms on earth. So, help pretty please?

Is there a setting that we can use that will assist in using RSMeans Online Version so it will work more effectively? Whenever we get an error message or it just won't open, they blame it on Firefox.
