Hi, I am using Linux Zorin and have updated to a later OS but cannot reinstall my stored files because, "/home/garry/.mozilla/firefox/0czvkt76.default-release/lock". Which has confused me, I have used a Deja Dup backup which uses Duplicity files as per the Zorin programme. Duplicate files are stored in a WD ext hard drive. What can I do to recover my files pls? I just get a blank page upon attempting to enter the site, but with no content. Grateful if someone could advise.

Each time I connect to the Sam's Club website I get a popup box that says "Let us know your human (no robots allowed)" even before I try to login. There is an "X" in the upper left corner of the message that I can click on twice and the box goes away. I then can click login and my password saver fills the boxes at which time I get the same box. I click again on the X and a message says there is a problem, try again later.

I am unable to login to the DVLC. I get as far as the enter reg number of a car to check it,s been taxed. Then after I input the reg number the next page tell me it is an insecure page. This also happens on my laptop. On both desktop and laptop I am using firefox with duck duck go as an add on. However. In using my mobile with the stand alone duck duck go browser, I can log in and complete the task. This points to a problem with Firefox. Any advice's. This seems to be recent as I have used the laptop and desktop to use the check for a taxed car system ok in the past.

I keep getting a message that says on YouTube "experiencing interruptions, find out why?'. The videos pause and are choppy. When I click find out why, it's telling me to turn off my high resolution. I don't even know how to do this. My tower is connected to a samsung hd smart tv, that serves as my monitor. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse. The message is constant - all day long, every day. Can you please help me fix this problem. I am a paying member of YouTube Premium. Thank you.

I have two end users that are having a different issues but they are of similar nature. First user can not upload anything to Microsoft Share point. She gets a message that says she does not have proper permissions to upload. She does not have the same issue on Chrome or Edge. The second user is trying to download and or save a file from a couple of different websites but regardless on where she tries to save it on her computer it says she does not have proper permissions to save to "x" file location. She also does not have this issue when she is on Chrome or Edge.

For both users I have tried clearing cache and cookies, Rebooting their computers, uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, deleting registry keys/user data from the computer itself. I have had no luck with resolving this issue and I can not find anything online that remotely resembles this issue.

Whenever I open a new tab, I start typing into the search bar at the top of my screen. The problem is, every time I open a new tab, I am on google (which I have no problem with); and when I go to type whatever I need to type into the search bar at the top of my screen, the URL from google stays there. So, for instance, if I open a new tab and try to go to Youtube by typing www.youtube.com into my searchbar and then hitting enter, I end up searching www.youtube.comhttps://www.google.com/ instead of just www.youtube.com. I've tried finding somewhere in settings where I can change this, but I can't find anything.

I got a notice from Mozilla that Firefox was updated over night. Now when I hit a link it goes to edge instead of Firefox. In the Firefox settings, it still says that Firefox is my default browser. I do not want to use Edge. How do I fix this. I have used Firefox for many years.

Firefox is pissing me off. I want to disable SSL security checks long enough to do what needs doing. I'm working from a container so there's really no risk, just need the browser to do what I want not what 'It' wants.

Firefox browser crashes whenever uploading or downloading is tried. It seems website independent, and even a trial to start download from an email crashes the browser. Report IDs for some of the submitted crash reports:

Here is a rather long winded explanation of my problem initially prepared for an email to Firefox until I found out that was not a possibility. Hello Agent, I have a problem with Firefox described as follows: I have an account with a company called Eversfield Organic an organic meat company. They have a facility whereby the delivered cold packs and insulating material can be returned to them via DPD free of charge. To achieve this a form has to be completed on Eversfields site to enable a returns label to be printed. When attempting to complete this form one line of this form will not accept an input. This item is called the “Country” which should read “United Kingdom”. I cannot input this manually or by my password manager “RoboForm” which temporary inputs United Kingdom until I release the mouse button when it goes blank again. I have tried the Google Chrome and Opera browsers which work perfectly using this system. So logically it would appear that there is a fault with Firefox which is a shame since it is my preferred browser. It would be appreciated if you can provide a solution to this problem. Machine is Windows 10 with a Logitech wireless keyboard. Latest Firefox browser. Not always but sometimes when using Firefox browser to log in somewhere or enter data on some web site, I'll get an incorrect entry for a key stroke. e.g. I enter a 0 and get a 1. But if I enter a 1 I get a 1. So far the error key has always been different.

I've tested things by launching a notepad or Word document and entering the character and in those all works fine. But go back to Firefox and I get the error again. What I have to do is to close and re-launch Firefox and so far this fixes things. It's an intermittent problem which forces me to keep another browser on the machine and ready. Imagine entering a password when all of a sudden you type 'X' and it gives you an 'E'. Really frustrating!

Why is there problem wit this conservative website ? Only because it's conservative and not leftist ?!

I have been using Firefox on my Huawei P29 for several years. I have Google UK set as my search engine and on my home page and this has been fine for years. Two or three days ago when I loaded Firefox Google UK and Google.com wouldn't display. The link flashes in the top bar but the page stays blank. They will load in Chrome and in Firefox if I have desk top mode switched on, but not in android mode. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, cleared the browser cache but no change. Getting pretty fed up with wasting my time sorting it out. Is it the Huawei phone or Firefox's last update?
