Firefox has arranged my extensions alphabetically. I would prefer to group them functionally, or at least be able to separate those which have similar colors -- for example, Grammarly and Evernote are both green and I sometimes click on one when I want the other. I would also like to have the one I use most at the far right of the toolbar.

Firefox 91

See screenshot.

I've been a Firefox user since the days of 2.0. I know what DuckDuckGo is, what search is, what it does and how to use it. I've set this search engine up myself! I don't need a tutorial.

How can I disable this misfeature?

Thanks, Alex

I don't know how this started but I'd be really grateful for help. Firefox is virtually unusable now. (See attached photo.)

And BTW:

I can't even see how this could be helpful to anyone but maybw it's to do with specific sight problems some people have? Why doesn't something show up to say "You are in xxx mode which makes your screen purple. The purpse of this function is xxx To return to normal mode do yyy."?

I think Firefox staff, like most people in IT, really don't understand that non-techies like me just want the thing to work! No, I don't want to spend hours sorting it out!

Lately (as of which version, I'm not sure), I've been noticing that if I enter a URL in the address bar of a tab that already has a page open, instead of going to the new URL I entered, Firefox will refresh the current page instead. This happens A LOT and is pretty annoying. Wondering if this happens to anyone else.

Hi,

Firefox updated today on my Mac to the latest version. I want to go back to the version I was using before, as in yesterday. (It was first installed on 9th April 2019, but I don't remember if it was updated at any time before today or not - so, not sure which version I was using yesterday).

How do I get back to yesterday's version without losing my bookmarks etc? This new version doesn't give me the option of having Google Chrome when I open each new tab - only Firefox or a blank page, which I don't want. Also, the version I was using up until yesterday (and this morning, actually) was much easier for me to see on-screen; at least the tabs look different on this new version.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

It works in other browsers like Edge, Brave, etc. I am on MacOS Big Sur 11.4 and running Firefox 94.0.2

After the latest release of Firefox, it is automatically forcing https on our site EquestrianCoach.com. We do not have a security certificate at this time (yes I know we need one and we are working on it). Therefore we get a "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead" page and no one can access the site. Even if you manually try to take out the "s" it directs right back to https. I heard Firefox does this if it detects a SSL, but again, we do not have one or never did for this site. I see other sites with no ssl work fine. Is there a work around to not have Firefox do this? All the legacy Firefox browsers work fine on our site. It was just with the last release it somehow seems to think we have one and force redirects. And to clarify, it isn't just on one computer. All members who have the new Firefox have this issue. Thank you for any assistance! It is greatly appreciated!
