Hi there!

Whenever I open Firefox, I receive a notification that suggests I reinstall the browser due to a configuration file error. However, I am still able to use the browser normally and my settings remain intact.

Is there anything I can do to address this notification without reinstalling Firefox? I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions you may have.

translate beta: Please help to deinstall this annoying feature. Setting <browser.translations.automaticallyPopup = false.> doesnt do anything. uninstall mozilla and re- install again? thanks'

Hello, today my Firefox offered me to try the "Translate this page" beta function within the browser. I agreed but now want to disable/delete this option and don't know how. I can uncheck the option to always translate the page in the menu settings after clicking on the icon in the bar. But I don't see an option to delete this add-on (it's not listed in the add-on section either). How can I get rid of it? Best, Manu

In the last couple of days, I have been having troubles editing Google Docs documents. Certain actions cause the cursor to jump around in the document.

For example, if I am sitting in a bulleted list, if I invoke the "increase indent" function through a menu or through the keyboard shortcut (tab key), the increase indent function executes correctly, but then the cursor moves to a new position a few lines earlier in the document.

Other operations cause similar movement of the cursor.

I am not alone in seeing this. I contributed to that thread, and on the advice of Google technical support tried various things. I disabled all my add-ons and refreshed firefox. The problem still occurred. But if I tried Google Chrome, I did not see the problem.

The problem persists across different documents.

I observed the problem in two separate environments: on both my laptop and my desktop computers. In both cases I'm running the latest release version of firefox (117.0.1). My desktop runs windows 11 while my laptop runs windows 10 -- both are up-to-date.

However, my wife can edit the same documents without seeing the problem. So, it's something specific to my environment. We use the same add-ons. The only difference I can think of is that I use a firefox account for syncing bookmarks across devices while she does not.

For some reason Firefox is now displaying in some strange langue. I have gone to settings, langues and have English selected. This should have corrected the problem but it has not. I have gone through the alternate langues menu and have what I believe to be English CA selected. Still a problem?

What else can I do?

Bank has changed access requirements to require geo-location when logging into account. Under Firefox settings, I found the geo-location settings screen; however, have not found how to add my bank's website for the purposes of allowing access to my geo-location when accessing their online banking services.

The only options listed were to delete 2 listed websites with geo-location access.

There is no add button to allow geo-location access when logging into my bank account?

HTTPS://SECURE.SSA.GOV open okay but when go to next page to SIGN-IN, Firefox is blocking it as following/below. What the heck is going on blocking SSA Sign-In after main Website is already open ?!?!?!?!?!

Is there any way to view devices that have previously been connected to my firefox account if they are no longer connected? My phone and laptop were stolen and I'm trying to find the IMEI of the phone.

I finally somehow was able to get in my Google account, however i don't know what my password is. Is there a way to seeing my current Google password without signing out,because i'm afraid of not getting back in. Pleas help me. I know that this is a weird question, Thank you.

I'm getting the message Device simulation changes require a reload to fully apply. Automatic reloads are disabled by default to avoid losing any changes in DevTools. You can enable reloading via the Settings menu.

I've looked through all the settings, searched for reload and still found no way to enable this. Googling it brings up answers from years ago that are clearly out of date. Where can I currently find this setting?

I am using Firefox, version 115.

According to an article I have just read, if a foreign language website is loaded, then Firefox 115 should give an icon on the extreme-right of the toolbar. Clicking on this icon will translate the text into other languages.

However, I do not have that icon. Anyone know what is wrong here, please?

Hi - Javzscript Enable, though "True", still brings up the error "Enable Javascript". I spent hours on this, but nothing useful was found. Has any one had this problem, and if so, were they able to fix it?
