translating webpage from Arabic to English How can you not have the option to translate form Arabic? How can you be so behind? Firefox is such a disappointment in so many ways

For years I've been able to input a website keyword (let's say "cnn" like in an old report I ran across) and the "www." and ".com" portions would be added without my typing them. Some time ago, this started to fail. Why?

I tried about:config changes that were said to work with the old "cnn" problem report but nothing helps for me.

Also, I use the local Windows Hosts file to give my router a quick reference name to get into it. That too has worked for years but began to fail last year. Inconvenient. The best I could track this down, it has something to do with forced DNS lookups and skipping the old Hosts file. If so, any work around to get my system simplicity back?

Help is appreciated. I liked the challenge of computer geekdom 30 years ago but I'm getting too old for this, well, you know the old saying.

Hopefully someone out there is a hiker/backpacker who the AllTrails app with Firefox. I use AllTrails to plan and record my hike. While hiking I take photos which record the Latitude and Longitude where the photo is taken. I can then upload those to my hike on AllTrails. Unfortunately, the photo upload feature does not work with Firefox. I must therefore switch to Edge, something I do not want to do. Hopefully there is an add-on or something to solve this problem...

So I am watching a video for a class and that video player has its own closed captioning and when I am watching the video there is a different closed captioning appearing over the video even though it is not the one from the video player. I attached an image of what I see.

It used to be that all ticked device settings in Edit Mode, standard and custom, are selectable in Web Developer Tools / Responsive Design Mode. Before, the cursor, indicated by the blue outlined box as shown in the attached screen shot, wraps around the list of devices to show the other hidden device settings. But now, the cursor just wraps but the values in the list do not adjust to show the other device setting that are available to be selected.

I don't know if I unknowingly, did something that triggered the lost functionality mentioned above.

How could I restore this lost functionality so that I could test my website in all the device settings that I have checked in the Edit mode?

I have multiple Microphones on my PC. I don't want to Plug them in and out Everytime, and some can't be unpluggt. Also i want the freedom to choose easily. I would love to change it in the "Permission for web.whatsapp.com" Menue thats drops down when i klick on it in the Adressbar. See picture attached.

Is there a way to skip the wait for the "Accept the Risk and Continue" button to appear? I assemble and set up copiers for a living. Every single one of them has a self-signed certificate. I see this "Potential security risk ahead" screen dozens of times a day because of this. I understand why I'm seeing it. I understand the importance of a security warning like that. What I would like to do is skip the delay between when you click on advanced and the "Accept risk and continue" button becoming available to be clicked on. That or some way to disable that security warning specifically for self-signed certificates would be ideal.

I want everything on my drive only. Not on cloud thru One Drive. I have tried searching but everything I find in incorrect. For example PC settings one drive etc. I can't find anything that is correct for instructions. I don't even see anything that says as a one drive option. My next question is then what happens to everything that has one drive in the path where do they go? I don't want my local information saved anywhere other than my computer not a cloud somewhere. Is this something you can direct me to where I can solve this? Thanks

The way New Tab works seems to have changed: The options are now "Firefox Home" or "blank page." Google is my home page and I want it to keep it as the New Tab default too. I've been looking on all the Mozilla help topics related to this, and they don't make sense to me. Please tell me how to do this. Thank you.

Is it possible to change Firefox's default keybinds? I don't see an option for this in Settings, nor in about:preferences or about:config. Some discussions on these forums suggest autoconfig.conf but that doesn't seem to have any options for keybinds. I found several KB articles on customizing Firefox, but none said anything about default keybinds:

For example, I'd like to change the keybind to open a private window from the default [Shift]+[Cmd]+P to [Shift]+[Cmd]+N. The latter is standard on most other browsers and is in my muscle memory. Is there any way to do that?

There is this new pop up coming on latest firefox version 123 about opening favorite link on firefox, I want to get rid of it programmatically using java, which argument or preference should I use ?

Firefox keeps asking me if I want to start it with windows. Again. And Again. AAAAAAND AGAIN.

How can I disable it? Seriously, Mozilla is really doing their best to scare me away... How could they think it's a good Idea to annoy their users over and over again?
