I've noticed there is a "verified by Amazon" icon in my address bar next to the FF shield. How did it get there, can, or should, I remove it and how. I don't trust anything Amazon does, so if possible I would like it to be gone.

Firefox cannot access my local filesystem. When I open a PDF in the browser and click the Save button, nothing happens. When I click a "Browse..." button to browse the filesystem and upload a file to a website, nothing happens.

This issue does not happen in Google Chrome. This issue persists in Troubleshooting Mode.

Looking for free border designs, and have found the add-on easy search tool required for most of them. Their web site has the add-on for Firefox, but how safe is it? Thanks.

I have a backup on my portable drive, where the F.Fox files cannot be deleted, not with WinRar either, they cannot be renamed. These are system files for F.Fox. The folder location is AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/ggsw864i.default-release/storage/default. In this folder I have had several files that belongs to the long file name category. They are compressed, cannot separate them by opening and cannot rename them for to assign a shorten name. There is no Properties to open. The files starting string: https+++ I have several data on this HD and it would be a huge task move the content then reformatting the drive. I did try the Windows Command Prompt rename method - it does not work either. Any help would be appreciated!

MacOS Monterey 12.3.1 FF 99.0.1 Have tried clearing Cache, Cookies, Troubleshoot mode.

Google Maps > Search > Share > Embed a Map, the map to be embedded is not displayed (likewise when embed is pasted into Wordpress page, for example)

While same procedure in Safari or Brave works as expected (map to be embedded is displayed in Google maps and embed code displays map in webpage using Brave or Safari).

From the Google Maps page > share > Embed a map > right click This Frame > Open in new tab And then looking in the Console. There are a few other ignored errors but then this...

Each time Firefox updates, the email client changes to the outlook default. The last 2-3 updates, mailto does not appear on the file,settings,applications menu. Nor will it populate if I type it in. I have tried every instruction to no avail. I am a long-time firefox user, non-techie and it is discouraging when things disappear with each update lately. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Followed instructions. Prefs. Privacy/Security. AutoPlay. Settings. But the screen does not look like the instructions and does not have check boxes. has box to enter url for exceptions but does not do anything. I don't want exceptions, I would like default to be autoplay off for all sites.

How do I do this. Thank you.

I need to print out my saved passwords. I have no cellphone to access, just my laptop and printer. I only use Firefox and no other browser. If my laptop gets hacked or breaks down, then I need to use someone else's computer to access my passwords in an emergency, and can't access my passwords to do so...so printing them out periodically is the smartest thing I can think of.

Help, anyone? This is pretty important to me. Thank you!

My google drive keeps disconnecting, and google drive/google docs links are not working. I have attached a screenshot of the new tab page when I copy paste a google sheets document URL into the search bar and hit enter. After the reloading icon animates, I stay on the new tab page and the url just sits there. The debug console shows 1 GET request that is timed out (picture also attached).

I can fix the issue by completely closing all firefox windows and opening again, but it will disconnect me after some minutes.

Firefox keeps disabling addons randomly, some of them are made by mozilla even. I am getting them from the official addon site so they shouldn't be illegitimate ones. Let me know what information about my install I can give to help.

The right side of screen, scroll and keys (close, minimize, etc..) on menu bar not working, any fix? When I move the entire screen leftwards, then the scroll and keys work...

Hi everyone; Recently my FB account got hacked and I went through hell and back to get it recovered. Funny thing is, it still doesn't work, it did briefly for the initial login just enough time to enable a 2 step challenge for which I selected SMS, NOT any security key via USB. As you can see in the picture, every time when I try to login (or switch in FB from a backup account into the primary), I'll get this message. Now it's stating that it's a Firefox/Mozilla request but it only appeared after my FB was hacked, never before. Could a developer/SME please take a look at this? Current Version 99.0.1 (64-bit)

My firefox browser is completely unable to load any tabs. The search bar works but screen remains blank after pressing enter, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no change. Thank you any help

Hi, I'm trying to clear my cache and site data (in order to update my gmail signature), and each time I clear selected sites - namely gmail which had hundreds of thousands of GB cached - it just comes back. After tyring this 4-5 times, Youtube started having hundred of thousands of GB cached too!! So now, despite managing data an clearing these repeatedly, there's more than when I started. I think I'm stuck in a loop somewhere, please help! thanks in advance

Hi there. I'm in the process of switching from Chrome and I want to import my passwords.

I first tried the 'import from Chrome' option - it says it's successful, but nothing has actually been added. Same result after several attempts.

I then tried the csv route. I found out I had to change the config settings, so I did just that, but the 'import CSV' option still isn't showing even after a reset.

So now I'm at a dead end. Any bright ideas please? TIA!

I have a new email address that I need to add in my profile. I have entered the new email but it seems to never have completed the process and doesn't show up as a secondary email, so I can remove the old address that I have been trying to close for 6 months. Now when I re-enter the address as an add, I get a message that it already exists and the page locks up...I can't do anything with it, except close it or go back 1 page. I would like to close the old address, but I can't since it is the only address to receive email from Firefox. HOW do I get this fixed and move on ?????? Thanks, Mitch

Firefox recently stopped playing embedded youtube videos on my phpBB forum site?

i keep the latest firefox and only recently showed up embedded videos play fine on Chrome and others
