When I search something in the adress bar I get the following screen when opening google (see screenshot) About this page

and a CAPTHA, when I solve the CAPTHA I can use google like normal but when I restard my pc or open a new (private) window I have to do it again and its really anoying to do it every time, can someone help? thanks in advance

I want extensions to have white/black-lists, so they're only allowed or blocked on certain pages e.g facebook container ruins instagram experience... and I can't block it on *instagram.com* Such feature would significantly enhance UX on firefox

Hi. Everytime I'm looking for something on Google, my search is automatically redrressed to the Bing page through "clickcrystal.com". I cancelled Bing as a search engine from the Firefox list but I can't find "clickcrystal.com". I think it's a sort of malware. I also tried to find it through "CleanmyMac" but no results.

Can someone help me please?

I use Firefox personally and for business. I use a lot of very useful extensions and like many users I customize my experience. I have found that the number of extensions I use every day is larger then can be shown on the extension toolbar. I am aware that clicking on the "jigsaw" icon will open up all the extensions, however this is not practical and wastes a lot of time. I would like to substantially reduce the size of the search box and increase the available size for my extensions to be in one click territory on the toolbar, how do I best achieve that please?

YouTube will no longer load, but only in Firefox. It works in every other browser I have. If I have a DIRECT link to a video page the video itself will load, but nothing else does. I have attached screenshots of the YouTube homepage not loading, the video page failing to load, and then it successfully loading in other browsers. I also attached a screenshot of my plugins. I have no extensions installed for Firefox. My browser has no updates available either it says, and my cookies have already been cleared. Still will not load.

the darn boxes that pop in on the right bottom of the screen are driving me crazy. I will be switching browsers if there is no way to turn them off. (My popup blocker is enabled). Help!

Some websites display poorly on Firefox 119.0 on my Dell computer running Windows 11. Some of the letters of the fonts are too thin and hard to read. They display correctly in Edge.

I have used Inspect Element to see that the font is: font-family: Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

The problem goes away if I change this to: font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

I do not have the Roboto or Helvetica fonts installed on my computer.

The problem fixes itself if I turn off the setting for "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selection above." However, this is not a good solution, because it introduces other issues.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have researched this for several hours and tried many of the suggestions online.

1) I have disabled all extensions. 2) I don't have any Themes installed in Firefox. 3) I have tried "Smooth edges of images and text" turned on and off. 4) The problem still occurs when running Firefox in Safe Mode. 5) I don't have a "High Contrast theme" enabled in the OS settings. 6) I am not running uBlock Origin. 7) I have played with Clear Type but the problem was occurring before that. I have tried modifying Firefox's gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.gamma to the value of GammaLevel from Windows's registry Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics\DISPLAY1. 8) I haven't installed any fonts on my computer. 9) I tried setting security.sandbox.content.level = 1.

I am not able to navigate websites per the ADA Accessibility requirements using my FireFox browser. I have tested the same websites in Chrome and the TAB key is working correctly, but in my instance of Firefox it does not. I have a colleague who tested the same website in their Firefox browser and they are not experiencing a problem navigating the website using their keyboard TAB key.

I am on a Mac with most recent FF installed. Colleague was on a PC and tested in FF.

How can I get FF to work correctly on my Mac?

I keep getting a 403 error message when trying to access the British Airways website. This is the first time I have encountered this, although it is perhaps 3 years since I last flew BA. I have cleared my cache and cookies. I have also tried to access the same ba.com site using Edge - with the same error message. This suggests that the problem may lie with BA. However, they have no technical support that I can reach. So I do not know what to do next. I use Kaspersky anti-virus and Malwarebytes to screen for malware. For the past couple of months I have been experiences tab crashes every day when watching a specific streaming service called wowtv, all my other tabs are fine and work flawlessly. Additionally, after restoring the tab or opening it anew it works again for the next few hours until the next crash occurs. Netflix, disney+ and others work fine as well. So far I have tried reinstalling firefox as well as try other browsers where said issue doesn't occur. I sadly don't have the error message or anything but the video freezes just before crashing, neither closing all tabs 'nor trying an older firefox version fixed it for me.

I've seen other people ask this question, and the stock answer appears to be: a) They may be different subdomains, but they're the same site. b) Just add an extra bit on the end of each user name so you can get at the correct one.

a) No they are most definitely not the same site: myFirstClientsDevSite.mytestdomain.com mySecondClientsDevSite.mytestdomain.com myThirdClientsDevSite.mytestdomain.com myFirstClientsUATSite.mytestdomain.com mySecondClientsUATSite.mytestdomain.com myThirdClientsUATSite.mytestdomain.com

You see the problem? Firefox treats all those sites as being "the same site", even though they patently are not.

b) I'm working with a lot more than three clients. Plus, that suggestion is basically "we admit that our product is broken, here's a work-around that a few people may be able to use".

And finally: I'm pretty sure that Firefox used to be able to discriminate between subdomains, so the question isn't so much "how can I get it to work", as "why was it taken away in the first place".

I seem to having an issue with adding search shortcuts on FF, I am following this guide:

But I'm stuck at step #4 as the table seems to be disabled.

This is a personal laptop and has not policies on it.

i use to have firefox or mozilla on my toolbar, do not know how to question or figure out what i am looking,

is it adding tab firefox or mozilla to the toolbar, when on toolbar you would click on firefox for a new tab.

hi, well I deleted and distrusted a certificate. now I'm trying to import the same certificate but it doesn't work. when i add the certificate i does not show anything on the certs list.

Since pretty much the beginning of the internet, pop-ups were deemed a significant annoyance, so much so it diminished and ruined the users’ browsing experience and significantly reduced efficiencies. Hence the addition of pop-up blocking settings to all browsers long ago.

However, for some unknown reason Firefox gives Google a free pass and allows their “sign-in” pop-up that pop-ups seemingly on every website you visit where you then have to then manually close the pop-up on pretty much every single website you visit - even though you have the pop-up blocker setting on ( and the only way to turn off a pop-up blocker is to specifically add a website to allow for pop-ups).

This is absolutely horrible and not acceptable. If you have the pop-up setting on, no pop-up should be allowed to get through no matter what it is or the source. If you allow one pop-up to continue then you should be allowing hundreds of thousands of other pop-ups as well. But you wouldn’t as you know this would be unacceptable, but again, somehow Firefox allows Google’s pop-up to go through and it pop-ups on pretty much every single website you visit.

Note that I selected Privacy and Security Setting as the "topic" above as that is were Firefox has it's pop-up setting (and where you can add exceptions to allow pop-ups for specific websites)

Hi y'all! I've been trying to get netflix to play recently, and I keep getting the error code F7351. I tried looking it up, and didn't get anything, and also tried to dis- and re- enable DRM content, and that didn't work. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks for any help!!

Can't login to tv.verizon.com. Entering login info produces the message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Trying the same login with Chrome works fine.

Should I be going back to using Chrome again?

Your code writers need to write code to handle Facebook. When scrolling through FB the feed constantly jumps ahead 5 or more posts... It's not a FB issue, its a Mozilla issue, in as much it doesn't occur with Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge... I could use them for FB but then I won't have my Firefox addon's..... Maybe collaborate with their code writers and ask how they addressed this issue...
