Regarding the extensions drop down menu, how does one re-arrange (and possibly hide) these extensions that are not pinned to the toolbar? I know how that to rearrange the extensions pinned to the toolbar: one has to go to "Customized Toolbar" and drag and drop. But I can't find information on how to re-arrange these other extensions. I've been to several websites in the last couple of days that won't load in firefox, but will in chrome ( which I had to download to order groceries and I am not super happy about it ). the most egregious was today, I tried to order groceries from a major grocery store: meijer.com and the main page opened but if I like searched for "coke" it would freeze and nothing would load. not just coke, but also any other search term

I was paying a bill and at the end there was a pop up from Firefox to save the payment method. I clicked the wrong box and it was saved. I would like to reverse that error. I don't know where to find it to delete my choice. It was my bank account information that I use to pay bills on line. Thanks in advance for your help. Sue Ellen Knutson [email address]

How to retrieve lost bookmark folders. I can see all my folders but I'm unable to retrieve them by Click the Firefox button and then Bookmarks. Click Import and Backup >> Restore. Then select the most recent bookmarks backup or click Choose File to select an older backup file located in the directory. The Backups don't contain all my folders. I need to restore all the folder depicted in the left data column.

Given that many innocent files are now being spoofed to be something other that what they appear to be, it strikes me as risky behaviour that if you stop Firefox opening PDFs within a tab in itself - in my case, because I prefer to use Sumatra PDF, and because I wish for Firefox to DOWNLOAD the file (but not open it), Firefox defaults to automatically opening it, when all you actually wanted to do with the PDF file was download it.

Regardless of what the web site is instructing the web browser to do, Firefox should remember who it's working for ;p If the user chooses to download only and not to open (perhaps because they wish to virus scan first) any file, then Firefox should provide an option disable auto-opening (with associated client) any file.

With the ever increasing risks of malicious files, this is more important than ever.

This occured with this file of sheet music, which is what prompted me to mention this. I have Sumatra PDF set up in Windows as my default PDF viewer.

I signed on and when I made an account I clicked save log in, then it sometime after i entered the wrong password logging in and a popup said "Save New Password" or whatever even though the new login failed because it was the wrong password-- so I clicked Enter, thus erasing my previously saved real password for this website. Now I can't get into the account because I don't have my password.

Additionally, I entered the wrong EMAIL so I can't even click "forgot password" to get a recovery email, and I can't change my password without entering my current password.

Is there a way to recover this data? Again 1. Made an account with password- saved with firefox 2. Tried logging in, entered wrong pass , pop-Up showed 'update password' fast, I clicked enter 3. Now my password is gone.

Hope someone can help me Thanks

The new editor only seems to allow you to add sized text or free form mouse generated lines; it does NOT allow you to edit the text brought in to the editor on the opening of a .pdf file. So what use can I get of it if I can't edit the text contained in the original file, or is their a way to do this?
