when i get a new email it triggers the generic notification event and not the new mail event so if i want to get a quack when i get a new email i have to get a quack for all generic notifications using the system notifications. Now if i use the thunderbird notifications(which i actually like better) i can change the sound and all but i get the notification when playing video and games, even in game mode.....it blocks the system notifications.

BTW loving the new beta thunderbird right now especially the card view for messages

I has gonna sign into another Gmail account that I use for games but I forgot the password and had no other way to sign in. I tried to go into my saved passwords in Firefox because I knew I saved it. I ended changing the password to a wrong one at one point and I couldn't view the first ever password I saved for the Gmail account. I really need to know how to view older/previous passwords, it would save my life.

Wrong language somehow. I was checking out the language settings & accidentally checked a box next to a language that I do not know. Immediately, I tried to change it back to English (U.K. version) but was unsuccessful & now I don't know what to do. I can't even guess correctly which one of the settings is the one for languages, because of course it is in a language of which I have no knowledge. Please, if someone can help? That is my most immediate problem - once that is sorted, I will need help restoring the browser with over 250 Collections on it, that just disappeared off my phone the other while I was doing some "housecleaning". Where are the patches/updates for this vulnerability located on the Mozilla homepage?

I don't seem t have the right usernames and passwords to be able to print out my logins and passwords. I am able to login to Windows whenever I restart my PCs, but Firefox doesn't accept the password. I have tried versions of the name that appears on my Windows screen after login, but that doesn't work. There is no alternative account on my laptop.

How do we disable "Thank you for loving Firefox" tab that keeps opening. Have tried several of the tips provided online but does not work. Deleted and re-installed Firefox and it this annoying tab still opens. Please advise how to fully disable or please resolve in next update. Have Firefox on several other computers and this does not open. Thanks!

Every time I do a search for services "near me" (hospitals, hotels, etc.), Firefox is using an out-of-date five-year-old location. Very frustrating! How can I change this? Anyone's help is much appreciated - I just haven't been able to find a link to help me fix it!

When I wake my windows 10 laptop from sleep the Thunderbird home page does not display properly. It shows up as jumbled text and bits and pieces of the page in all different places. There are also pixelated pieces all over the place.

When I log into amazon with mozilla and try to search for an item, amazons reply screen, on my windows 10 computer screen, goes black. When I do the same login sequence using google, everything works normally. I prefer using mozilla . This is a recent problem with mozilla that started two weeks ago. I need this fixed. I don't want to change browsers but I use amazon frequently. Thanks for your help.

I have a task bar at the bottom of my screen -- or I used to. Ever since I installed a Norton protection program several says ago, the task bar shows up sometimes and other times, it is gone and I cannot access it. When it's there, it gives me access to the websites I'm using, all my written files and picture, video and other files, volume control and other options. I NEED TO SEE AND USE THIS TASK BAR ALL THE TIME, NOT SOME OF THE TIME WHEN FOR SOME REASON IT'S THERE. AGAIN, I WANT TO ACCESS THIS TASK BAR ALWAYS WHEN I'M ONLINE.

In my MS Windows 11 system in control panel, Apps > Default apps. Firefox is listed twice. In both of these there are these two separate listings: ".htm" and ".html". Below both these listing it says: "Firefox" "Firefox HTML Document"

Question: Can I remove/delete/uninstall one of these Firefox's? Question: Should I remove/delete the ".htm" and just leave the ".html"?

So imagine your filling out a form online using firefox for android and you come across a question that you cant remember the answer to so you switch apps to check through your notes.

Upon finding the necessary info you switch back to firefox only for the page to refresh itself and for you to lose all your previous progress. Why???

I've also encountered this when paying for an item and i need to confirm the payment through my banking app. i go to the app, confirm the payment, switch back to firefox and the page refreshes and i have to start over!

Is it just me? Please fix this. It's the one thing that sucks about this otherwise great browser.

My old iMac's Firefox browser was automatically changed to ESR (by Firefox) since the computer could no longer update the operating system through Apple (obsolete). When I purchased a new iMac and migrated my data to the new computer, Firefox ESR is still the browser, and says it is up to date. I am assuming I should get the most current regular Firefox version, but don't know if there is an easy way to change the version and preserve all my saved passwords, logins, bookmarks, etc. Looking for guidance. I have prompt in Firefox that says "Your browser is being managed by your organisation". I've done a bit of a google and appears to be anti-virus related which I don't have any installed.

Certificates ImportEnterpriseRoots is also set to true.

What would be causing this?
