Not sure what happened. None of my extensions work. Some don't even load a drop-down menu like they used to, my password manager is broken. Ublock origins says there is nothing to block when there clearly is plenty to block on the page, etc. I use the exact same extensions in Chrome and Chrome still doesn't break when using extensions. When was the last major FF update?

Restoring discarded tabs

After needing to do heavy maintenance due to a malware/malvertising issue that cropped up, I needed to restart and refresh Firefox a couple of times. While all the tabs are still present, they are now "discarded". I am fully unable to restore them, currently. Googling has not given me any real insight as to what is going on.

I did have Tab Suspender extension/app in use, so perhaps I should have disabled that and refreshed all the tabs. Impossible to say now, and hindsight is not exactly helping me restore any of this.

I have a lot of tabs, and I have managed to copy the titles of each tab, so I should theoretically be able to find each one again. However, if there is an easier method to restore all my tabs, I'd prefer that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am getting apparently random redirects to mostly r.svrtrack.com, there has been one other.

I checked my addons and installed programs and can't find anything unexpected.

I have scanned with Malwarebytes and Windows Security and they can't find anything.

I haven't captured a screenshot, will do so next time it happens.

I only get this so far on a couple of sites: Comporium.net email, and NRA.org. Everything worked fine yesterday - just started this morning. No upgrades in the interim and I tried logging into e-mail with another computer/browser and had no problems.

I have Windows 10 at current maintenance and Firefox 75 -at current maintenance. I have no problem with any other website, and the Discover website was fine until Mon Apr. 13. Now it says my accounts cannot be accessed.

Discover support says it is a problem with Firefox Java settings, but I cannot find anything about Java in the options. They had me restart the PC and clear cache and cookies in Firefox, but neither solved the problem.

I can access these accounts successfully with Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge, so it looks like something in Firefox IS the problem. From previous support entries it looks like you have had similar issues in the past, so looks like that problem is back.

How soon can I expect this to be fixed? Firefox is my default browser, and I hate to have to use a different browser for just one website.

I have been using an add-on to download certain live broadcasted video. It did this by downloading the audio and the video as separate files, that I then put together outside of Firefox. I don't know if this is the right place to ask but since I can't get any further than the first step this time I thought I'd start here.

The add-on no longer works so I thought I'd open the "Inspect Element" page, go to "Network" and leave it open with the live video playing. There were lots of small files loading in, ending in .m4a and .m4v. Too many sort and download manually so I tried right clicking and hit "Save All As Har"

So now I got a .har file of around 100 MB and I wonder if this has those small pieces that I can do something with? Thanks

I use extension "Translator" and it's fully okey instead one moment: window of this add-on closes if I press capslock button. I use Ubuntu 18.04 (gnome 3) with Firefox 74 and my capslock button is setting up to switch input language (in gnome 3 settings). Probably, It's not extension problem because, for example, in Opera browser window of Translator doesn't close after pressing capslock. What should I try to recognize, why this problem occurs?

This started sometime in early March - maybe after the latest update, but I think it was earlier than that. Ran a full scan with Norton about 3-15-20, restarted, and the problem seemed to be resolved - until today, 3-23-20. It's not happening with Chrome or IE. I'm old and not very computer-savvy (since leaving tech school 20 years ago). Any suggestions? When I Google for a solution, I get suggestions to download free malware software, which I am loath to do. Why won't Norton 360 take care of it and block it from reinstalling when it tries to come in again?

You get multiple lines where only 1 line should be printed. By disabling ALL add ons the print function works correctly. Is there a solution for this problem without disabling ALL add ons?

Using Firefox Portable (call it ONE), just updated to 74. T T blinks about every 2 seconds, and the groups are not shown. Tree Style Tabs works okay, but there is no toolbar or groups on T S T. I uninstalled T T and re-installed, no change. A firefox update and a windows 10 update happened just before I noticed this, don't know if they are related.

Downloaded another portable installation file (call it it TWO), and added T T. No Blinking, and toolbar and groups are there. Any ideas on how I can make it work in ONE? All help appreciated. Thanks!

I created a custom theme using a picture from online through Firefox Colors. Whenever I log out of Firefox browser, I have to go to Firefox colors in order for me to get that custom theme to show by going under my saved themes. When I try to export, it just makes me open it in a picture program on my computer. I can't keep this sucker enabled as it seems Firefox doesn't want to save and apply it. I have gone all over the settings about light, dark, and other themes. Nothing should be causing this. Uninstalling the Firefox Colors, reinstalling it, and redoing the ENTIRE theme all over again has only resulted in it not being saved and me going through Firefox Colors every time just to get the theme I want.

Hi, I notice that mozilla/firefox don't seem to show types of addons into groups, especially their officially-recommended-addons https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?recommended=true&type=extension - into different categories, as to what each add-on does, i.e. which productivity activities they might fall under for what they do. what good is 4 or more pages of add-ons in a list? I would want them in groups that fall under categories as a Type/dropdown. For example add that is great for taking notes, another for tracking protection, another for music, etc, etc. The listing page is simply a four page list with no divisions.

Could there be an additional Filter on the left side of the page that drops down showing all the different types of OFFICIALLY RECOMMENDED-addons depending on their function/purpose, please. not just by their names? I hope I can get my point across well enough, being a visual type, I might be unable to place it into the correct framework in a written way. My apologies in that case. Thank you and best regards!

I first disabled the add-on, then removed it, then uninstalled Firefox and installed it again (restarting my computer at each operation). The problem is not solved. The message I get that there is an error loading the page - as if there was no internet connection.

Install and click tab for vue devtool. Font resize(ctrl and +) or (ctrl and -). The menu bar above vue devtool resizes but the viewing area of vue devtool fails resizing. Clicking in vue devtool area does not help. Click outside vue devtool and on the content area. Then resize. Works as expected. Click on inspector tab. Resize, works as expected.

Tested vue devtool resizing on linux chrome. Works as expected.

I have the "Anesidora" add-on to play music, but it stops after each song and I have to keep pressing play. I have the Autoplay settings in Firefox is set to "Block Audio and Video", but it never affected the Anesidora add-on before. Is there a way to create an exemption for add-ons? I don't want videos to automatically play on websites, but I want the Anesidora add-on to continuously play music (like it was working before), so I am guessing Firefox recently changed that? Is there a way to fix this?
