An update to Thunderbird has somehow removed all my inbox sub folders and all remaining messages in my inbox are blank, ie. there is no message body showing for any of my messages.

I tried right button clicking on one of my account's inbox folders and going to properties, repair folder and all my inbox messages for that account prior to about a week ago were removed.

My profile folder still shows as being approx 13Gb in size so hopefully everything is still there. Somehow everything seems to be pretty messed up. About Thunderbird shows I'm running 115.5.2 with a button below to update to 115.6.1.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this?

My old email keeps showing up when Firefox is trying to auto fill email. How do I change that in Firefox. Same with addresses, My mailing address is shown in many different ways, all variants of my actual address.

Also, I have some kind of browser hijacker (BING) that keeps directing me to Bing website. I have tried the standard procedures as outlined, bu t still BING often redirects my searches. I am also working with my anti-virus people to try to correct, but thought I would ask you as well. Hello. I need help getting Thunderbird to stop marking and sorting certain emails as threads. Seems to be completely spontaneous and for no apparent reason, even in the inbox. I have never actively marked emails as threads. I've tried to remove the "threads" function in the folder settings, but it doesn't seem to have helped in some cases. I also need help with getting the email "unstuck" from the thread structure, I have tried "Ignore threads" and "Ignore subthreads" with the result that the email disappeared. I was trying to get the answer to a simple question: How do you change the default sender in Thunderbird? The problem comes up when you click a "mailto" from a web page. The FROM address that was coming up was not one I wanted. Asking the question about the default sever brought up more than 150 discussions. Only after reading many them for more than half an hour, did I find the answer: In Account Settings, select Account Actions, then select Set as Default. Why isn't there a searchable user manual that would provide the answer to a simple question quickly? OK, the question may not be that simple because 'default sender' may be ambiguous. I have established a group in Thunderbird. I want to send a group email to all the individuals in my group. I believe that in the past I could click on the group name in the address book and have all the emails within the group come up in the To line of the email. Now I have to click on the group and then on each individual, which sends their email to the To line, but then when I click on the second person, the email is sent to the individual in the To line of a new email. How can I choose at one time all the emails of individuals in the group?

I have the latest Tbird 115.4.3,and cannot figure out how to display all my folders in the left hand pane. I only see the most commonly used folders. How can I remedy this? Thanks

Thunderbird v 115.5.0 running Windows 10 When editing an existing filter to add an additional conditions the edit web page fills the laptop screen to where the "submit" button is off the bottom of the screen and cannot be accessed. The page cannot be re-sized. Setting laptop screen to higher resolution has no effect

v115.7.0 I have been a user and contributor for years. OS is still Win7. I have had a IMAP connection to Comcast for years, now it will not connect. I have made sure I am using the correct password. When I start thunderbird, a secondary window pops up with the error message unable to connect. WEnt thru lots of posts but no results. One interesting said to disable IPV6 security option, but the way they described the fix was to access thry the EDIT menu then Preferences, but my system does not have Preferences under Edit.

I am using Thunderbird 115.5.0 and have been suffering double line spacing since I upgraded to this version. I can fix it on a on a per session basis, but when the programme is closed, it defaults to double space again. May I ask when this bug is going to be addressed please? Thanks John.

My one iCloud email account has been working fine in TB for months. Today sometime TB (115.8.0) began unsubscribing all but a few of my iCloud email folders, including "Sent", "Trash" &c. All other email accounts in the client are unaffected. I resubscribed all of the folders, but they keep unsubscribing - that is, the subscribe process isn't holding and the folders it retains seem random. All the mail and folders on iCloud.com are intact, but TB will show them (some or most of them) briefly, then unsubscribe all but a few. I've tried deleting the account entirely (including data in Thunderbird folder) and re-adding - the problem persists. I've been bale to solve this one. Anybody?

With the moving of Cox emails to Yahoo would it be feasible for Thunderbird to put an instruction list(with screenshots) of how to get all our TB email accounts from Cox to TB? Do we have to delete all our TB email accounts and re-enter them into TB under the new Yahoo or can we just change the server settings on the existing Cox settings? If just changing server settings what are the settings for the new yahoo? All my accounts are IMAP so if instructions could be made, maybe one for IMAP and one for POP for those who use either. Thank you

I have been experiencing a problem with Cloudflare specifically on one site (character.ai) and when the verify you are human pops up. It takes me in a seemingly infinite loop. On the Cloudflare community site they say it could be because of things like adblock but even without any adblock or anything of the sort on it does the same thing. Sadly Cloudflare community doesn't support being used on Firefox. So maybe they don't support being used on Firefox in general? I have contacted the actual websites support but they don't seem to even read submitted inquiries because I never hear anything back from them except the automated message they received it. It is now preventing me from using certain things in general which as before it wasn't that big of a deal but recently they changed the site layout and still allowed you to use the old layout but the verification blocks you from using the old layout. The first one is one from a couple of weeks ago when it only effected me trying to open things in a separate tab and the second one is the newer one which prevents me from accessing the old layout. I'm not sure what to do about it since nothing I specifically could do to solve it has helped. I have opted into sharing data under troubleshooting IDK how well that'll help.
