I've tried post in the thread 1287660 but it was closed. So, I opened this thread to continue about this subject and to answer the last question of the thread 1287660, at the same time. I was looking for about this subject and found the solution in the thread 1287660 - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1287660, but the link of v9.7.2 quoted there was shortened and it is not working to download the 9.7.2 Fox Reader version. mazdausa.com won't fully display. I just updated to version 100 (woohoo) and tried looking in troubleshooting mode, still no luck. The middle of the page where the car (picture) is supposed to show up is blank. The rest of the site loads.

We're currently trying to set up a Hardening Guide for Firefox ESR but are struggling with a few policies and setting wildcards.

For example, we're trying to set an origin in Cookies > Block Settings to something like "*", and we get the error "Ignoring parameter "*" - not a valid origin."

In Chrome / Edge you can set a wildcard like this: [*.]google.com for example - we receive the same error message for this.

Can you do such a thing for Firefox ESR without having to list every site you want to block?

ESR Version: 115.6.0esr (64-bit)

The browser (version 107) regularly crashes and then never launches. After entering failure mode, I disabled all the extensions, but it still wouldn't start. Later, I disabled the hardware acceleration, and I can start the browser, and the extensions work. But then, it still crashes occasionally and periodically. I tried to change to version 100 and also have a similar problem. Resetting Profiles would start, but it would still crash after a while. It crashes for me too.

The Bookmarks Toolbar is showing up with a message to use it, even though I don't want to use it and have not added any bookmarks to it. This has shifted the actual screen down one line and messed up things I do that rely on screen positioning. Please turn it back off.

I have searched the "Knowledge Base" to no avail--no solutions, just others with the same problem. Every day a handful of fresh Trouble Reports pop up on my desktop, even though Firefox is not even running (as verified through the Windows Task Manager). It got so bad, I uninstalled/reinstalled and the problem persists. Otherwise, the browser works fine. My expertise lies outside trying to decipher arcane strings of data buried deep in the bowels of my computer, and frankly I should not have to start hiking up a steep learning curve just to get this to stop. I should add, I have been a fiercely loyal Firefox user since its inception.

I'm not super happy about sharing internal data with the rest of the universe, but have done so anyway in hopes we can get the madness to stop!

So I downloaded Firefox and logged in expecting my bookmarks to carry over after I "sync'd" it, however the did not. So I went to my old pc and did the export bookmarks thing and imported it to the new pc.

Now.. I have all my bookmarks and everything appears great. Except whenever I open a link from say my work it opens a Mozilla window that doesn't have my bookmarks. When I try to combine the windows It doesn't let me. I am also scared of losing access to the Mozilla with my bookmarks as I work from home using those. (the desktop shortcut to Mozilla opens the one without all my work)

In the attached screenshot things to note, the bookmark bar available on left isn't there on the right. Additionally in the taskbar (bottom) it shows Mozilla in two distinctly separate icons. When two Mozilla windows are open, they share the same icon on the taskbar, these do not, which leads me to believe I have two incompatible versions existing next to each other.

My issue is that I have a huge amount of likes in my Instagram interactions and I would prefer to not have to just manually scroll. There are extensions that if the scrollbar is at the edge of my browser screen they all work. but sadly if its a scrollbar not at the edge of my browser screen they do not take affect.

just inform me what you need me to get to get from the body inspect element in order to know what element is the scrollbar i will do that for you!

i just want this to be able to be autoscrolled, but the extensions wont do it

I used Speedtest by Ookla. When the broad band was installed, the technician did this without a problem. Today when I tried I was taken to an installation page. After I used the SpeedTest, then my main page was gone and instead I have a bar of Firefox selected options. I've tried to find how this is done so I can set it back but I can't find it. Please help.

I have a user whose Firefox has stopped working. It will start up, but nothing ever is displayed in the window. The address bar and buttons are all there, but nothing from a web site, just a white page. If I enter a url, or click on a bookmark the refresh button never changed to an 'X', but I can see traffic from her machine going across our firewall. Try to go into setup and it's the same thing. About:config displays nothing. It's all just a blank page. Other browsers seem to work fine.

I've tried refreshing, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but it didn't fix it. Any ideas?

Last few days , my laptop( windows 10) system got hanged for some reason. Then second time I got the message on my laptop , that Software Mozzila Firefox got crashed. It had stopped working for few minutes then I restarted it. 1) Has it happened to my System? 2) or even others got the same experience? 3) How to start PC when windows stopped working Suddenly. 4)Was the Mozzila Firefox failure / crash, was the reason, behind PC not working during first time? 5) On laptop a message appears , to upgrade Operating system to Windows 11( currently it is windows 10) from MS. What is the suggestion from Mozzila/

I've attached an image of what's happening to me. Since last update, the toolbar is 50% allocated to blank space which cannot be used.

For example, I cannot drag to resize the search box across to the left side of the toolbar (which is where I like it), nor can any item be dragged or placed there.

I'm pondering (if I know how) installing an older version and preventing updates etc.

Is there another solution? Is anyone else seeing this?

Any tips would be hugely appreciated.

Trying to open kossyderrickent.com I was suspicious of its safety. I was offered the option shown in the attachment. Is this legitimate? I am not familiar with the site and I think it may be unsafe. Pls advise.

I think I may have accidently pressed a button and made the homescreen giant even though it shows as being at 100%. Does anyone know of a way to return to to normal?

Firefox was lagging everywhere: scrolling, switching folders in bookmarks, switching windows, switching tabs, opening settings, scrolling in settings...just everywhere. So I tried downgrading to v. 113. After downgrading via the ling in settings it still showed v. 114. I uninstalled firefox entirely and downloaded the loader for v 112. I installed it and it went thru whole install process to the point of asking to close and start Firefox. It didn't start. When I clicked on the icon it gave me a prompt that it didn't point to anything and asked if I wanted to delete it. I looked in program files folder but didn't find a folder for Firefox or Mozilla. I installed the developer edition and it worked but I don't want dark dev ed. Please help!

I recently purchased a dell refurbished computer, I set it up went and downloaded fire fox without any trouble. I restarted computer today and it would not accept password I called DiscountcomputerDepot.com help and they helped me to restart and they told me they would have to reinstall windows from computer. So I lost all my programs. when it restarted said would have to update windows.
