Hi there,

I refreshed Mozilla Firefox because reCAPTCHA was not working client side. Doing this fixed that. HOWEVER, my passwords did not carry over. I had them Synced and everything, but upon refreshing Firefox they are all gone. I need them stored in Firefox or I will not be able to login to any of my accounts. The sync function seems to not be working either (unless I am using it wrong). Most were securely generated passwords. Not memorable ones.

I saw that refreshing would remove certain things like extensions, but it said it would keep bookmarks, passwords, etc. I have my booksmarks, just zero passwords. HELP!

I need them for work today. Can you assist please!?

Running Firefox 110.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 11 Pro.

Spell check does not work. No red underlining of spelling mistakes. It is enabled and about:config confirms it. This happened to me a couple of times under Windows 10 and much older versions of Firefox. This is a recurring theme without a one-stop resolution.

when using the browser firefox i often have difficulty deleting emails and have to close & restart the browser before i can, this seems to happen regardless whether i go to another site first or go to outllook first. i expect you may advise i use the app for email but i often use computers that are not my own to access emails & regardless much prefer using the browser. whether the fault lies with outlook or firefox i cant say. cant say i have noticed this issue with other browsers but obviously as i use firefox as my primary browser this is frustrating.

I am trying to make Firefox my default browser, but the view for v. 111 (maybe 110?) is really driving me crazy. I need to see lines between my tabs, I need lines on the search bar, I need the active tab to be highlighted. This request makes me feel very persnickety, but I have hit major pain points since Windows 10 and I need everything to be as painless as possible. If you need an idea for a new extension, TextBlaze on Chrome is invaluable and another reason I have hesitated defaulting to Firefox.

Point me somewhere that I can fix this. Last Pass used to have a large red item around where the pocket icon is in the top right but it doesn't appear now. I have downloaded "lastpass_password_manager-4.108.1.7.xpi" and tried to add it to the extensions. But nothing.

Not exactly sure why but the browser is no longer working for my banking. I first noticed it a week ago when I tried to log in and then ended up calling the bank tech support. They told me to use google chrome instead. I have been using Firefox for years and never had a problem. After researching for latest update changes, I tried changing the settings to allow cookies for the session for the bank but this did not work either. Any idea why this is happening? Thank you. Hi. I followed directions to open a Thunderbird account, [edited] @fencemail.com. As required, I paid for a Domain Name: [edited] @micalone.org, from Ghandi, including a VAT Tax. I got an intercept, that a problematical HTML(?) was missing, whatever it is, with nary a hint nor link to fix the problem. Horrors! Unfortunately, I am not a computer whiz, and most computer technical verbiage is like hieroglyphics to me. I am in a dilemma in that I do not have the proffered Internet address. Do to a nasty virus, I no longer have access to my old ISP address, [edited] @juno.com, hence the need to open the highly recommended Thunderbird account. So, I can not send or receive email to resolve this HTML problem. Is the U.S. Postal Service a viable option? If so. my postal address is: Nick Micalone, [removed address information from public]. If someone is intimately familiar with the Thunderbird enrolling process, I will gladly pre-pay for the postage and associated costs for a fix by simple instructions. If this helps, I do have the Thunderbird logo on my desktop. Hopefully, the Thunderbird wizards can fix this remotely, at their end. Best regards, Nick M.

Firefox has been randomly crashing for me for months now, which minimizes everything I had up, usually at a bad time. Firefox doesn't even have to be running for it to crash and interrupt what I'm doing.

I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on a new, blank m.2 drive (my computer didn't have a TPM until I added it) and my intent was to be able to access the Windows 7 OS as needed (old apps). I haven't been able to boot back to Win7 since the upgrade. I need the bookmarks from the old install. I can access the old drive. I did not export the bookmarks recently in the old OS. Is there a way to move the bookmarks to the new OS? Firefox was recently upgraded on Win7.

I got an update to version 110.0.1 and on opening it, all my bookmarks, passwords, and such are gone. It seems to be asking me to start an entirely new install of Firefox and asks for the import of bookmarks from another browser (fortunately I use another browser). Am I missing someting? This isn't an update if that's what it does. I can't see any obvious way to fix it.

My cat was sitting lap top with firefox open. It was open to Amazon. Now whenever I open amazon, I am stuck with huge print and the need to scroll to see even small parts of one page. I cannot figure out how to get it back to something near the default size. I have a relatively new Lenovo laptop.

When starting to type an email address in a login box on, e.g., amazon, Firefox produces a drop-down list of suggested completions using common email domains such as gmail.com and yahoo.com. I never use any of these and want to either suppress the suggestions entirely or customise the list to display domains which I actually use.

A few versions ago, Firefox (Mac) changed behavior when clicking on a link in an outside program. Specifically, if Firefox is not running and I click a link in Outlook, Firefox opens the clicked link in a tab but also opens my homepage in a second tab. Since I'm only interested in the clicked link at this time I don't want it to open my home page, just the clicked link. This problem is exacerbated by my.yahoo.com which causes a switch from the tab containing the clicked link to the homepage tab.

How do I get Firefox to only open the link that I clicked and not my homepage in addition? This was the normal behavior until a few months ago.

Little thing really but still slightly annoying. why cant i move the Extensions button? I personaly have no need for it on my browser and i really dont like it there! thats where my bookmarks button sits. I use Firefox because its the best and most customizable browser available, so i struggle to understand why this one button is uncustomizable. Please could you unlock the button so it can be places anywhere, like the rest the buttons of your awsome browser, or as in my case, just removed.
