G'day,

After being abandoned by my ISP (and the problems this caused) I installed Thunderbird. Some month after this I raised an email account for my wife - so that I could do her entries to a sports club.

Now when I raise a business email to firms, the reply is sent to her account.

Could you advise me what if anything I've done wrong please?

Hello,

I am aware of "Themes" however I am wondering how difficult it would be to be able to change and customize colors inside Thunderbird?

I mean a couple of sliders with color selectors which would basically allow users to pick custom colors and specific combinations.

I like grey themes however they still too light grey in my opinion, I would like a darker UI but not black...

I have been seaching for the solution for the whole day, and i found the closest one. It Does remove tabs, windows buttoms, but the background bar still remains, and i dont need it this way. So thats the code i used to make it >>>>>

On the screenshot you can see what remains on tabs' bar place I need my browser to end just above the URL string, so there wont be empty space in the top of the monitor. Can you help me find solution for this problem, please?

Ads and other annoyances that distract me from being able to browse the web in peace are a pet peeve of mine. Take for instance this example amazon prime promotion that loads in its own web page that cannot be blocked by normal means. I do not wish to use amazon prime and don't want to be asked every time I checkout in order to complete a purchase. To make matters worse, the options are deceptively colored much like how bloatware developers word their installation wizards. I want to be able to bypass this page entirely and get redirected to the "no thanks" option every time this page loads. Is this something that can be done so I can shop online without being nagged for unwanted services?

Desktop mode works fine, once you enable it. But if you leave the window, close the tab or let the tab suspend it defaults back to the mobile version which gets annoying fast. With that said, a feature that allows firefox to load the tab in desktop mode persistently when toggled should be implemented. Even better on a per site basis instead of globally.

I've seen several posts that ask for the same thing as this one. These go as far back as 2020 which makes me feel like they've completely forgotten about or dropped adding this feature.

And yes I've tried looking for addons to do this but I got nothing.

My firefox collapsed a couple of times (I don't blame it my browsing contained around 40 tabs XD). However, when I restarted the browser all of my addons went missing also I cannot add any new addons tried the ones recommended by the browser. I also tried to update the browser and all the troubleshooting options I could find. The issue is not detected by any troubleshooting I tried. So please help me restore somehow my addons or at least make me able to install addons at all. Thanks

My pEp has been working fine for a year or so. I last used it about 1month ago, i did an OS update on my mac a week ago.... Today pEp stopped working saying internal error when trying to send a pEp message. See attachment.

I can send non pEp emails fine, I can receive non pEp emails fine. I am unable to decrypt pEp msgs atm.

I started out by trying to remove the extension. That failed so i had to remove via finder, library folder>profile etc…

reinstalled no change.

Uninstalled thunderbird, reinstalled thunderbird, reinstalled pEp. No change.

OS - Montery 12.6 Thunderbird - 102.4.2 (64-bit) pEp - 1.1.114

I have sent an email to pEp support, but my question to this forum is:

I used the troubleshoot mode, i left extension on and when it restarted it showed the extension as "on". However the extension did not run so i could not review the fault condition relating to the internal error.

I am certainly not an expert on the troubleshoot process but i was hoping that I may have gained some more info about the "internal error" message that may help.

Am i missing something in the process or should I expect the ext to work and give me something to work with?

Hey,

i try to use firefox multiaccount container but it does not work. Better said if i add the add-on it does not show up in system bar (up in the right corner), but you can see it in the add-ons and themes setting menu. So there is only half of layout given but no function of it at all compairing to other persons using it, e.g. "how to use firefox multiaccount container tutorial videos" etc. Trying to handel the settings of it with the add-ons and themes menu does not help.

I use the firefox browser protable eddion for windows at my laptop and it seems to be that all settings are recent. As well it does not seem to be that i use there any privat tab where it does not work i guess?!

May someone can help me?

Up-to-date Firefox on Windows 10 laptop. Today, for the 2nd time in a week or so, the “mailto” function has disappeared; i.e., if I click a “Send email” link on a webpage, the Windows dialogue box to select a mail app pops up. When I check the applications setting, mailto doesn't appear in the list.

The first time this happened, I found online instructions to refresh Firefox and select Gmail as the mail client. I don’t mind doing it again, but I am concerned about the problem occurring so soon after the recent refresh.

When I open multiple sites, or even try to log in and view my passwords ~ it constantly displays in Russian or some other language.

There is no helpful solution posted, and I have no idea to fix this. Again ~ only English is set in my personal settings.

Any advice?

Hi, good day/evening you all. Hey with a temporary disability I have a real need to limit my mousing and would love to see a feature request I could give a thumbs up on -- for the 3 line menu at the top right being accessible via keyboard. (Also at least some of the choices on it such as History via a hotkey -- after I have the main menu open. By the way I know about pressing Alt, then any of the hotkeys on the old school hidden menu bar -- I'm instead talking about the new always visible hamburger menu icon.)

Where would I search to see if there's been any discussion or progress on that? Bugzilla?

Sorry I'm new to this type of questioning. Any tips would be greatly appreciated and my body would appreciate it too! :-)

Hi guys,

I'm trying to generate API key to access addon APIs using the addons.mozilla.org -> tools->Manage Api Keys.

As web screen states before generating the key I need to confirm it via email, however no confirmation email was sent to "[email address]". This might be relevant to the issue, the account email was changed from "[email address]" to "[email address]" some time ago.

We've checked the following link trying to troubleshoot the issue on our end, but had no success. We haven't found the way how to resend the email via UI.

Could you please resend the confirmation email for API key to "[email address]" once more?
