There are four tabs on the tab line that did not close out when I turned off the computer. Each time I come on the tabs are still there. I can close them out individually but they come on again when I sign in again. Also, I can not use the "home" button to utilize Google.

I have spent the last half hour searching with Google and on Muzila help – everywhere that I can possibly think of and every combination of words and every hit I get that supposedly is the instructions on how to recover sync by entering my account recovery key NEVER leads to a page where I can enter my account recovery key.

I've lost everything in bookmarks. The toolbar. The general bookmarks. Everything. Could this be because I tried to download Claude on my new mac mini. Help please. We only use firefox. All the time!

I have 100's of bookmarked sites from over 10 years ago, you're new update lost all of them!! I never did a backup becuase this has never happened before. I'm panicking as I need all that information ASAP. Please help.

Hi, just to say, sorry, I’m an absolute idiot, I don’t understand tech at all. I have a VPN, privacy badger and ublock origin. These issues continue whether these three things are turned off or not, so I believe it must be to do with my Firefox settings.

Everything was fine, but now all of the sudden, certain elements of pages will not load.

So for example, today I tried to go to Gizmodo and look at a Star Trek page. Cool. https://gizmodo.com/star-trek-day-announcements-include-a-lego-collaboration-and-a-youtube-kids-series-2000655142

This is not the only site, just an example.

Clicked the comment button to see what people are saying. It won’t load the comments. The comments are completely blocked. They don't exist. When I try to look at the comments, it just shows me another part of the webpage, can't even see the comments.

Thought it was just this site, but then today I was on a plastic surgeon site in Europe to make a payment and it wouldn’t load the payment page.

I tried turning off badger and unblock to make the payment, and it didn’t work.

Honestly I really have no idea what the problem is, I know I’m doing something stupid but I don’t know what it is or how to figure out.

Any help on figuring out what’s going on or where the hiccups for these might be would be welcome.

Hello there, I usually use Firefox as my browser to access my Gmail account. For some reason, I am not able to open up gmail. I put in gmail and it shows in the search bar the following informaiton--mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox . NOthing else happens, no gmail account opens up. Please help.

Over the years I have saved many bookmarks across several different devices. Therefore the bookmarks vary between devices. Is there any way that I can tidy up my bookmarks, deleting many of them, on my main machine and then have all the other devices Synch to that list only?

I have tried deleting ALL the bookmarks on the "subsidiary" devices and then synched them but that didn't work. I think I'm asking whether one device can be made the "master" for all the others to Synch to that one and none of the others.

lately I am unable to connect to some websites - I am getting a lot of "Hmm we're having trouble finding that site." I have to get to them using Safari or Chrome.

When I open a new tab and enter any website name I cannot connect to any site and this has only just started The message I get reads cannot connect to server at gb.search.yahoo.com

From Windows 11 start Firefox v 142.0.1 opens with an entirely blank page - toolbars, graphics, webpage - everything taking over a minute to load up with toolbars and then a further 2 minutes to load www.theguardian.com/uk. Firefox then frequently crashes and on re-start the bookmarks toolbar is empty - yes it is visible. I have been renaming places.sqlite to places.sqlite.old every few days since 27 Aug. The Manage Bookmarks - Library shows all bookmarks when Firefox is behaving but is completely empty when the bookmark toolbar is also empty. Restarting Firefox does not reinstall the bookmarks. The only solution is to restart Windows 11. Any ideas on speeding up and preventing this bookmark problem. Thanks
