When I write a message in Thunderbird email, and I use the 'enter' button, it automatically double-spaces between each line instead of just one space between lines. I can't find anything to fix this. I want single spacing in my emails and I will provide the double spacing by entering it twice.

I cannot get the login home page for consumercellular.com using Firefox 108.0.1. The Chrome web browser works perfectly.

I updated to new version 108.0.1 (64-bit) and found: icons for my extensions disappeared. Extensions exists and turned on, but toolbar don't show them. How can I restore them?

Been using Gmail with POP3 settings for several years. About 2 weeks ago it stopped working. I have 2 step authentication enabled. Just stopped and cant recognize username and password. I am using Windows 11 Peo and latest version of Thunderbird. Any suggestions? Or should I remove it and use Outlook?

I added a profile to Thunderbird by starting Thunderbird with the -P option.

When I start TB now, I always get a 'Welcome to TB' message asking me to configure e-mail, agenda, addressbook, ... I believe this happens because TB does know with which profile to start. Here is the ini.file:

I use Firefox to download, copy, and store WikiSpecies pictures.

Currently, my .../Documents/WikiSpecies/Animalia_Plantae_8 directory holds what it says are 90,876 items, totalling 11.5 GB. I have plenty of unused space in that directory (over 91 GB), so space is not an issue.

Lately, when I try to install a new picture, I keep getting a warning that the picture is already stored. This MAY be because I am running out of new pictures, but I can't tell.

Is there any capacity limit to a WikiSpecies directory?

The signature text, ( Account Settings ) uses the HTML option and is straightforward: ==========

But the result somehow attaches a couple of unwanted characters before adding the actual signature text: --

Thunderbird is adding a couple of characters at the very top of the signature, "--" Where can I find and eliminate these characters

When I have Firefox or Thunderbird running for awhile, I notice the background all of a sudden switches to black and the type turns to white. Why does it do that? Is there a control that I can stop that from happening? It's hard to work with those colors. I am working on a 2017 iMac computer.

After accepting the upgrade from 91.xx to 102.3.2, Thunderbird won't show any folders. All Account Settings are still there, Addresses are still there, Filters are still there, and I can send emails successfully through various accounts.

I've toggled all the View settings I could find. Troubleshooting Mode is no different. All add-ons disabled or removed. The button in the About page continually reloads the current version, although it did pick up 102.3.3 when that was released.

It's probably a simple thin, but I haven't figured it out and am eager for suggestions. Thank you!

(Using T'bird version 108.0.1) When addressing an email to a recipient, an incorrect email pops up in the "To" area. I've tried editing the address, but the next time I try to email him, the incorrect address shows up again. How do I permanently delete this address? (His email address is correct in my address book.)

I am using the latest version of Thunderbird and have always wanted to remove the search bar. I tried draging and dropping it in to customize tool bar but did not go. I do not use it and feel it takes up un necessary space

I have used Preclick Gold photo organizer for years to send photos via Thunderbird email. After updating Thunderbird today (12/22/22) I can no longer send photos. A message appears MAPI Error-2147467259. What can I do to fix this?

I am under a disaster with todays mess of firefox, even on chrome now to try here to get some help. I am having to redo my pc OS etc and I am needing to swap over my app data to the temporary backup pc. I know how to do that but it won't even let me start firefox as it is an older version. I install a newer version and that is one of the new version disasters I hate. I have no time to figure out how to make it look to where it is usable. I got the old pc running and found the version it had. I install that, which is an esr but it still gives me the same problem. I need my firefox working so I can use it with my original tabs and bookmarks. Or you can be like some and tell me to just go elsewhere as a fix for the mess which is todays firefox. I used to have about zero of these kind of problems. How do I get myself to my original setup on the temp pc?

The latest version of Thunderbird (102.6.1) has made new designed messages presentation in sent items, where it seems are ordered by subject and not as old versions by dates and copies of each email sent. Although may be due to spaces and emails duplication, the new design is not friendly and practically, requiring time for searching and track emails.

It generates more confusion and doubts as; if has sent or has lost.

Running FF 107.0.1 on Mac 10.15.7 and there is unexpected padding around each website I visit. I've disabled all browser extensions. I'm using the default theme. I've tried restarting Firefox. I've tried restarting the computer but the issues seems to persist. I do not see the same rendering behavior when loading these websites on Google Chrome. I'm including screenshots of what I'm seeing.

New version of Firefox has bookmarks showing with black background. I want to change it to no color at all. I have some vision problems and many bookmark icons don't show up with a black background.

Previous versions of Firefox didn't have this glitch.
