Im a regular user of Firefox Mobile and also Firefox PC. I'm missing a very important feature in "Firefox Mobile" is Shortcuts are not Coustomizable i can't order them and also shortcut isn't "Synchronized" with Firefox Account which is really frustrating. Became "Vivaldi" & some other browsers have this features!!! I used firefox like 2years but, If i want these features i have to shift from firefox to other browsers, which i don't want to. So Please Solve my problem and make me mozilian forever.

I've deselected to not have any shortcuts on my homepage from my history & they're still popping up. I only want the short cuts I save. I either have to delete them one by one or clear my history (which I might need sometimes) to get rid of them. It's annoying me enough to not want to use Firefox. I want a neat home page without any clutter.

Steps to reproduce: - Open Firefox - Go to a website - Click the triple vertical dots - Add to home screen - Press add - Press add

This bug is still here and ruining the PWA that I made and wanted to install on my phone. The app isn't on the home screen or any of the other screens, but attempts to add it again fail with the message "This shortcut already exists".

How do I remove these invisible shortcuts? Can I do this through the file explorer? If not, can this be fixed?

Also please let me know if a video reproducing this issue would be helpful. I can reliably reproduce it every time.

I found this thread. I set font.name.sans-serif.x-western and added to the start of font.name-list.sans-serif.x-western, but I don't think something has changed. It's Fennec F-Droid and the font ABeeZee. So does anyone has some advice? Thank you very much

When I use Firefox on my iphone, and I leave it open to open a different app, when I return to Firefox the web page has been hidden and it offers the option for me to "jump back in" all of 10-20 seconds later! This is especially annoying when I'm making a donation through Paypal or another option that uses secondary verification. First I'm on the website for the organization I'm donating to. I leave that page to open Paypal, Then I return to Firefox to see the website I just left open, I have to"jump back in" & re-select the Organization's page, Then Paypal wants to send a verification code, so I do that, which involves going to my notifications, & Then I go back to the Organization's page finish the donation, but Firefox has hidden the page AGAIN. So to finish the donation I have to once again re-select the web page from "jump back in". It's Not Fun. ieeaah!

Hello: I’m running iOS 17.3.1 on iPhone. The problem I’m experiencing: I used to see the Recommended by Pocket articles on my iOS Firefox homepage, but they stopped appearing a few weeks ago. I’ve searched for a resolution, but all I can find are the steps for customizing/personalizing my HomePage: the problem is that although I’m signed into my Firefox/Mozilla account and have chosen Firefox as my Homepage for New Tabs, and I’ve signed out, restarted the app and changed my Firefox settings several times, the option: ‘Recommended by Pocket’ ( along with the actual articles appearing on the homepage) doesn’t even appear anymore: I’m at a loss as to locating that option, as well as, again, seeing the Recommended Articles as they appeared previously. But as you can see, in my personalized search string there is no placeholder! What to do to install nevertheless my personalized version of the startpage search string as the common search engine on my android mobile?

I don't understand why Firefox Android was designed so that the UI's dark theme also gets automatically thrust upon websites without user consent?

Dark theme for the UI and dark conversion for websites are supposed to be two *different* features. It baffles my mind that they were merged together like this, rather than just add an extra toggle for the user.

I know that there's an option to un-toggle the websites going dark in the about:config menu. But the Firefox stable release has actually disabled access to about:config as well!?

So what are we left to do? Just forever use the Beta/Nightly versions if we want any customizability over our favorite browser?

Why even disable about:config in the stable release in the first place, generally speaking? Chrome doesn't disable access to it in their stable release versions. Who's brilliant idea was it to make this change?!

Hello, chromebook user here. I dont know if i count as android or not but still i have a problem. Just today i switched from chrome to firefox, and i realized i cant customize wallpapers! I have searched up every possible tutorial on here and youtube and on firefox itself. Hopings devs can solve this

How to add speed dials in homepage and URL bar on Firefox Android?

I access some sites instantly like alternative search engines, social media, news sites, messages and others so need them on homepage of browser (also new tab like Chrome otherwise speed dials won't work).

But in Firefox Android and Chromebooks, I can't find a way to have done sites as speed dials like Edge browser, Samsung browser, cococ browser, soul browser, mask browser, kiwi browser, Brave browser, Vivaldi browser, and Opera browsers among others. Only Firefox is light years backward despite being veteran.

Humbly requesting this feature urgently as usability is zero when using Firefox browsers and I have to go back to one of the browsers mentioned in that case.

Dear sir/madam,

The new sepia reading mode cannot be turned off easily without compromising privacy. If i click to set it to dark mode through controls , the next page is sepia again. But if i use the fast way, by clicking on the icon next to the url, it turns my page from a https to a http. It feels like the feature is not supposed to work like that. Now i think about it, any page that by default is https is darkmode, but any page that is turned into an https is turned sepia or not https anymore. I get that it strains the eyes less and i am certainly not against the feature itself, but i do enjoy pictures and video's in full colour and for me personally, dark mode reads better.

In other words, i love it as a feature not as a default and i don't think it was meant as one, but it cannot be turned off right now.
