I frequently manage cookies in Settings. In the Privacy and Security page of Settings, I click on the Manage Data button to delete unwanted cookies. It works, no problems.

My issue is that, when I re-size the window that lists current cookies, that window size does not hold. The next time I access Manage Data the window is back to its original, small size.

Up until v121, the window has retained the size it was previously.

I have the same problem on my laptop using Firefox v115x. It used to keep the same size window, but a few months ago stopped that behavior and always starts with the small-sized window.

It is not the worst problem to have, but I keep track of multiple cookies on a regular basis. Leaving the window the same (larger) size would be nice.

It also would be nice for that window to retain the view last used. I usually check cookies that were most recently used, but the window has always defaulted to the largest cache size for cookies.

These are minor niggles, but it would be nice if they could be addressed one day.

Attached is a screenshot of my extensions. These did not seem to interfere with Firefox functions before.

My desk top computer powered off yesterday (2/15). It came back on then got zapped again. Now I can not open or sing into my outlook account. I cannot enter a code if sent through Firefox. It will not open in email. I have been able to access my email through MSN. Or can respond to phone text.

My wife received a code on her phone last evening, but did not respond in time. We live in the sticks and have very poor service. Please help. I want my Firefox back.

Why am I locked out. I play every day and today I can't get through and Google said it might be a Cookies issue. Need help please. Not very savy re. Cookies. I am a Senior.

I upgraded the hard drive on my computer, first I did a full back up on an external drive. When I reloaded to my new drive, everything transferred fine, except for the bookmarks and favorites on FireFox. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my password and tried to reset it several times but somehow I kept getting messages about the wrong parameters. Since v. 104.0, I am getting graphics driver hangs, graphical glitches in the Firefox window, 'blank' videos where there should be videos & gifs playing and even PC hangs (mouse keeps moving, I still hear sound, but the video freezes completely, including OS). This is happening on TWO separate systems, one with a R9 270X, and the other with an old Intel GMA X4500MHD.

I can play GPU-intensive games perfectly fine, and Firefox was fine even with HWA enabled on both systems up to version 103.0.2.

Whatever was changed in the graphics / WebRender stack for v. 104.0, it is UNSTABLE.

I have unwanted Text being displayed on my Desktop. Currently the word "Thunderbird" is being displayed and I cannot get rid of it. I previously had the word "Firefox" displayed. I have removed Firefox and reinstalled it, but still have the same issue

When I click on a link, a whole new copy of the browser seems to open from the right side of the screen. This is disconcerting to say the least. More importantly I find it hard to go back and forth between windows to get something done.

This just started when I downloaded/installed a recent new version of Firefox. (Version 104.0.1)

How do I get rid of this "feature"? I mush prefer opening screens in the same browser copy.

This has happened before. For some reason every time I purchase anything from Microsoft, like Microsoft Office 365, AT&T/McAfee blocks me from my company: SavingsHighwayGlobal, and this is my main source of income.

Why is this and what can I do?

I have my language settings to English, and English ONLY.

When I open multiple sites, or even try to log in and view my passwords ~ it constantly displays in Russian or some other language.

There is no helpful solution posted, and I have no idea to fix this. Again ~ only English is set in my personal settings.

Any advice?

This morning I opened Thunderbird that I access my Yahoo Mail through. When I click on any message in my inbox it displays the information (to, from, subject, and body) from an email from July 17, 2020. This email has been deleted on Thunderbird and Yahoo and both trashes have been entered. If I delete the new message that should be something else on Thunderbird it disappears from Yahoo Mail as normal.

I recently started using the calendar, about a week ago, and sync it using tbSync with my Apple Calendar. It's been working perfectly and the the calendar is still working. It's just reading messages in my inbox. Messages stored in my folders that are on my hard drive work.

I've confirmed that my webmail access on mail.yahoo.com is still working properly. My email client, Spark, on my phone is still working properly. I have Thunderbird 102.4.2 (64-bit) running on Ubuntu 22.04. I've also restarted and rebooted my computer just in case.

Help! I have been stuck on 60.9.1. I tried to upgrade many years ago and lost all my past emails and folders. A search at the time said there was no way to get them back so I reinstalled 60 and have lived there ever since. A couple of weeks ago Google mail changed their security protocols and dropped POP and 60.9 apparently can not read IMAP. I love Thunderbird and would prefer to stay but I don't want to loose all my past emails and folders. So, I would like to upgrade to the latest stable version. Is there a path that won't dump my history? I have read many posts on here but still can't find the path to being current. Can I simply install the latest version or do I have to install in stages. If in stages what is the order of version to install and should I stop at each version to check/test something before moving to the next install?

When I click a link on page, or an app tries to open a tab (eg to print an ebay invoice), it opens and immediately closes the first time, but stays open the second time. It's really annoying.

In troubleshoot mode, it doesn't happen.

I am using FF109.0 and Linux Mint - 001-1.0 fresh install on new HD.

Hello guys, this would be a little awkward. Since I've run into this problem a limited number of times and I can't reproduce it. But it does appear frequently and is very annoying. I had to ask here for advice and help.

The device I use is a MacBook, running the official version of Firefox, and as far as I know this problem has been there for at least half a year. I'm used to keyboard operations, usually I use Cmd+T to create a new tab, then the cursor is focused on the address bar, and I type the URL. Since I'm typing an address that I visit often, maybe I just type the first few letters, the URL gets autocompleted, and then I just hit enter and the page opens in my new tab. But sometimes I hit enter twice (eg not English input method). At this time, I noticed that in addition to the URL I wanted to open, there's an additional tab. This tab was blank, or the page I just visit.

From my personal understanding, I may have performed the above operations to create a new tab or clone a tab at the same time. But I don't think my operations will cause these to happen concurrently.

Below are the extensions that I have installed, in my impression I don't get this bug in Windows, but I don't use Windows a lot. In addition, my MacBook keys may be sticky, or it may be a system problem.

I have scoured the forms left and right trying to look for a solution. browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash is set to false browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once is set to false. Trying and looking This browser still restores my tabs from shutdown, which is not something I want it to do at all.

I'm using Firefox with Google as my default search engine. When ever I try to type in the Google search box, what I am typing appears in the address bar. I want to search in the Google search box as it is at eye level for what I am doing. I have tried all sorts of ideas from the web to fix this but no joy. Does anyone know how I disable this? Thank you
