I don't want the tabs + search bar to show when the mouse reaches the top of the screen while in full-screen mode, I have tried "userChrome.css" solution provided in this link "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1092572", but it didn't work for me, I would appreciate any help, thank you.

I have FINALLY given up on your sync feature as it keeps adding deleted bookmarks and folders. It is so bad that all the duplication of bookmarks and folders are so random that can mount to thousands and thousands or copies.

I have UN-SYNC all my devices as this cannot go on as I have followed your instructions to the T.

I have never wanted, do not want, and will never want any website to push notifications to my desktop computer. I don't even really want any websites (or your browser) to push notifications to my phone.

Fuckin let me block them with a global settings policy instead of having to click the no button for every piece of shit website that thinks I care about them enough to get nagged in my free time

(you should have an account, if not just create one and proceed with following step) 5. click on [sign in] 6. enter email assigned with your account 7. click on [Confirm and Continue] 8. (a verification code is sent to the email or phone assigned with your account) 9. enter verification code 10. page will redirect to https://app.klarna.com/ and will show a frame where to adjust settings about how klarna will collect data by tracking technologies. 11. click on any button to close that frame (accept all / required settings only,...) ---> Does not work :-(

PLEASE help me find a way around this 'so called' improvement of auto downloading any attachment or file to my Downloads folder without any choice from me. I have checked the 'always ask' in General settings - this functionality DOES NOT WORK - IT IS A waste of time. When prompt asks what you want to do, it auto downloads IN THE BACKGROUND even if you say open and do NOT check save option. This is a MAJOR frustration, makes extra work for me to have to remember to go back to Downloads to delete all these files that just pile up, where I separately saved-off the file as usual to my other, separate intended directory. We should have the right to make that decision on whether or not we want to save it to our computers and take up space. PLEASE REVERSE THAT FUNCTIONALITY TO WHAT IS WAS BEFORE. THANK YOU>

On the page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-downloads-preferences-using-downloads-menu#w_downloads-panel-automatically-opens it says: "Downloads panel automatically opens" "Every time you start a download, Firefox will automatically bring up the Downloads panel by default, . . . "

It never used to do that ! Having the Downloads panel drop down and just sit there covering a large part of the page every time I save a little picture is an extreme nuisance ! How do I prevent it from happening ? Please help ! Many thanks !

I am running Firefox 99.0.1. Lately (probably since the last update) when browsing the web, Firefox will lockup and not be responsive to clicks on hyper links. The issue goes away when I close Firefox and re-open, but after clicking on 3 or four links, it locks up again. MS Edge does not have this problem with the same websites. I did notice in Task Manager that Firefox is opening up 10 processes. Can anyone give some suggestions?

Hi, I tried to download a script but Firefox warned me it had a virus / malware. So I immediately put it in trash, emptied trash, restarted my Macbook and used Bitdefender to scan my Mac. Fortunately it detected no viruses. So I think I'm good (Hopefully!)

But, every time I open Firefox now, a little window appears at the top showing my last download and telling me it had a virus or malware - I'm posting a screenshot of this. I removed it from my history, and cleared the preview panel, but it still pops up. To be clear, this only happens when I completely close Firefox and reopen it, not when I just open new windows or tabs.

How can I get it to stop popping up with this message? Also - one other oddity, each time I open Firefox, it says the time this script was downloaded matches the time I open Firefox (as opposed to when I actually downloaded the pdf - about an hour ago)

All our Firefox browsers (version 99.*, Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise) in the company need around 20 seconds to load a web page when first opened. All other browser functions work fluently from the beginning. Also the slowness only happens after opening and not during further use. Which Firefox is refusing to load I can open other tabs and e.g. do a Google search and then the "slowness timer" starts again (independently if the first tab is closed or stays open) and refuses to do anything on that tab. Once the slownedd period is over all tabs are loaded and no further problem occurs. This issue occurs only when the GPO "URL for Home Page" is applied. But this page is reachable and when Firefox is working it loads within milliseconds. For testing I created a new profile and on the first startup the problem already occurs. And all other startups too. When temporarily removing this one GPO entry it immediately works again fluently. It also doesn't matter what I set as home page (company internal website or some random web page); it is always slow once this setting is in place.

I have credit card autofill enabled, because I do a lot of business online and it is very convenient. Maddeningly, it has started doing something I can't find a way to fix. I put the mouse over the box asking for a credit card number, the saved numbers pop up, I select one, and then the pop-up box disappears without filling in the credit card number. There has got to be a fix for this, but I cannot find it. Pls. advise...

Not sure when it began, probably before the current version, i.e. it's not related to the latest update. When exiting, everything seems fine at first but then Crash Reporter pops up. If I try to restart my Windows/PC with FF open, the restarting becomes blocked by Firefox, so I have to cancel the restart and deal with Crash Reporter first.

The same crash happens in Troubleshoot Mode.

I don't have any special security software (aside from Malwarebytes with real-time protection disabled).

Signature is different (almost) every time but as far as I remember no crash felt any different from the two crashes above. FF updated yesterday with the new Ubuntu 22.04 (Pop) update to 99.01. Since the update the volume control inputs are essentially disabled on all web sites, and they default to max - even when muted.

Example - youtube - all videos play full volume Reddit - even muted videos play full volume

The volume can now only be controlled by the system slider.

The same behavior does not occur in other browsers - e.g. Chromium, Opera, etc.

Can anyone assist?

My browser updated and I seem to have lost all of my saved passwords. I signed in but none of them seem to be saved. Not sure how to get them back or where they went. Is there a way to recover or find them?

I just downloaded the latest Firefox 100.0 on my 2020 iMac running MacOS 11.6.5. and watching youtube video that support HDR look horrible. Everything is washed out. Can you please allow us to disable HDR. I have to now watch youtube on Safari or Chrome.

after upgrading to the latest version of fire fox I cannot access the router setup page. I think that the versions after v97 require TLS 1.2 or later. My router apparently does not support this. How can I access my router to update it's firmware. If I can't access the setup pages. Is downgrading to a version before v97 an option? is there any other work around. I want to establish a http:// not https:// connection with the router.

I am having trouble getting individual autofill entries in Firefox on Linux Mint deleted. There are a few I have in some lists for a couple different websites that have some spelling mistakes. I have a few hundred of them that are regularly used and I really do not want to clear them all and start over.

Highlighting them and hitting the delete key is not working, and using shift-delete (that works of Mac) is also not working. I have been searching and cannot seem to find an answer to why this is not working for my with Linux. Can anyone provide a solution or point me in the right direction?

So this issue just started and it's really annoying.

In order to actually see the downloads, I first have to enable the menu bar and then go Tools -> Downloads

Clicking the ↓ button should open a panel of recent downloads but nothing appears when I click on it. Furthermore, the "download complete" notification that this panel provides are no longer present.

The animation for the panel still works though.

Is there a solution to this?
