I am using Cambridge Dictionary regularly. In that site, when I try to listen how a word is spelled in the US, the last part of the word is not spelled. For example, I am trying to learn how to say " strut ", in the UK version, I hear it completely. But for the US version, I hear "stru" with no t sound. This happens for each word and this problem only occurs in Mozilla Firefox both in Android and on Windows. Is there a way to solve this or I will completely stop using Firefox as I need to use this dictionary very regularly.

When using Firefox on Android for a while, attempting to use pinch to zoom on a web site will cause Android to crash, as in the screen will go black, the G logo animation will appear, and I'll be sent back to the lock screen. It's not just the app that crashes. It doesn't seem to be a full reboot as that takes longer and starts with a different animation, but some part of Android is restarting.

It's consistent but not predictable. Pinch to zoom will work on one site fine and then crash on the same site later. It seems to be a resource issue as it's unlikely to happen on a fresh instance and it becomes more likely the longer you've been using Firefox.

This has been happening for several months, since at least July. It's happened both on my old Pixel 6 Pro and my new Pixel 9 Pro. It's happened on both Android 14 and 15.

I eventually found out I could go to Settings > About Firefox > Crashes and get some debugging info, but I don't know what to do with it. I currently have 15 crashes between now and Oct 16th which all say:

Clicking Share to get more info on the latest one adds:

I don't know what to do with this info. Should I file a Bugzilla report with just this? The GUID associated with the most recent one is 7a5e5497-bb62-4e3c-94fc-5c63c51d0830. I can't look it up in crash-stats.mozilla.org. Or should I assume all crash reports are automatically received? I'd still like to be able to have a Bugzilla bug to watch for progress.

While browsing www.youtube.com, the site is not running smoothly. When I'm scrolling in the YouTube homepage, it's like cutting in the middle. On the other hand when watching YouTube shorts, when scrolling to a new video, it's like jumping and then loading, which seems extremely inconvenient. Overall the YouTube site is not working properly in Firefox mobile (Android 13). Note: I have tried the cookie delete option. Still persistent.

Firefox: the gear button and the "restore screen size/exit full screen" button are nonfunctional (nothing happens when I tap on them).

Google Chrome browser: the gear icon button is nonfunctional.

DuckDuckGo browser: the gear icon button is non functional.

Opera browser: the gear icon button is non functional.

This problem started about a week and a half ago.

As Google’s search features get more and more anti-user, it is more important than ever to be able to add the “&UDM=14” after receiving their newly formatted, pathetic excuse for results.

Something has recently changed that makes this impossible.

When on a Google search result page, attempt to edit the URL only allow editing the search query. There is already a location for this, the query field.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. Since I am on my new Phone (Xiaomi Poco F6, Hyper OS 1.0.4.0, Android 14.UKQ1.240116.001), I have this weird thing with Firefox that when I minimize it and then come back a few seconds later, it will automatically reload the tab I was on. Which is extremely annoying because, for example, I was on the Paypal page and was getting my login code from messages, then when I got back on the Paypal page it reloaded and I could not insert the code, but had to click on 'send code' again (and again and again). I saw this issue appear multiple times apparently already on reddit and co. But nowhere I could find an answer to it. Someone? I looked in the battery saver settings and in firefox settings etc, but I can't find anything that makes tabs reload automatically and it makes no sense that anything would clear the cache every time I minimize firefox, no?

I have a Tablet which I use for everything and I often need to browse and use websites. One day all websites were suddenly completely off in scaing. It's like I am browsing on my phone, but only looking at the top third of the website. I don't thing that I have changed any settings as it was just like that the next day.

it's exhausting and seriously disruptive

I tried to open this streaming video from CBS News. It won't open on Firefox but it does play on Chrome. Both browsers are updated to the latest version. (Android)

When attempting to insert account/password into a website, the Firefox would popup, ask for the iOS passcode, popup the list of matching accounts then immediately closed that popup and create a blank tab.

This also happened when trying an alternative but similar method with "Use saved password".

Infuriating.

Difficult to reaearch this.

Happens on numerous websites, most recently at Alternative To dot net.

After updating to version 129.2 on my iPhone, I can no longer rearrange my tabs. I can tap and hold on a tab and move it but then it snaps back to the old position. This is making the browser unusable for me. I have tried closing and reopening the app and restarting my iPhone but neither worked.

I want to easily log into iCloud using my Redmi Note 9 android phone using firefox; so I went into settings and carefully added the URL for iCloud and the password and saved it. BUT, when I then go to iCloud URL and try to log in with my email, the password does NOT work! Why?

I must say, I have less and less regard for both apple and firefox. Why, oh why must it be a royal flucking pain in the ass to simply log into a cloud service on your phone? But for apple and firefox, this is evidently asking too much.

firefox on android manages websites and passwords like a sh!t sandwich. For example: when I do log into iCloud with firefox android manually, it DOES NOT prompt to save the password! How stupid is that? You want to log into a cloud server quickly and easily? Dream on! No can do-oh on firefox. You'd better scribble your password on a post-it note and bring it with you; otherwise firefox with flock you.

It really seems as time marches on, these giant tech corporations get sh!ttier and sh!ttier....unaccountable, indifferent to the peasantry who must suffer needlessly using their sh!tty products.

Time to look for a new android web browser as firefox is rubbish.

(sorry for my bad English) I delete and again install Firefox, and after this if I open tabs (Youtube, etc) and close browser, tabs doesn't restore and showing default 1 search tab Firefox. Setting to restore tabs enabled, but not working, lile a method with about:setting. I will be grateful for help.
