Hey,

Just recently the Firefox Focus app I use for quick searches decided to change the white text of the recommended results go gray in dark theme. This makes the text hard to read. I've tried clearing cache, reinstalling, force quitting and changing the theme on the app and on my phone. How can I get the text back to white?

Hello, for some time now, firefox focus is unable to load the x.com homepage; the app instantly tries to launch the X app. A provate tab in Firefox does NOT have the same issue. Please help and consider me available if you need to investigate further. Many thanks Alberto

Hi there, When I try to use Firefox Focus by tapping the search bar (see screenshot), my phone keyboard does not appear. No matter how many times I tap. I have tried clearing cache, deleting the app's data, restarting my phone, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. None of these fixed the issue. This makes the app completely unusable. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

EDIT: The keyboard app I am using is Gboard - it came pre-installed on my phone.

Simple: Will there ever be more than four shortcuts within Firefox Focus for Android? This is the only limiting factor I don't understand. I love this browser for everything else it does better than the standard Firefox, but this is the limiting factor... I would understand if the screen would be full, but it is not. A 4x6 matrix, maybe adjustable in the options how much, fits perfectly on probably all mobiles. The "put shortcuts on mobile desktop" is not a solution, that is already full enough as it is.

When I enter words in Search/Adress-Field, the font of previews is dark over dark background. (Firefox Klar - not DuckduckGo.) Thus I cannot read any of the preview results.

Just wanna know how to adapt the settings for having a contrast between font and background.

So I have been using Focus for a while and it has been working perfectly until now. But since the last few weeks I have been encountering this annoying bug. Whenever I search something, the text of the search suggestions is black in color even if the app theme is set to dark. This is making it really tough to go through the suggestions since both, the text and the background are dark. I changed the theme to light and it worked as expected, dark text on light background. But I prefer having the dark mode and this issue did not exist until a few weeks ago.

I tried everything I could to the best of my knowledge, cleared cache, cleared data, re-installed the app, checked for updates but to no avail. I am attaching a screenshot for reference.

I tried browsing for any existing articles but couldn't find any. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have been experiencing problems with search suggestions in the search bar for over a year now, with delays or none showing up.

Since it did not occur only on my Fire Tablet, which was left old due to manual update, I investigated from which version it occurred and found that it occurred from v97.0.0-beta.3 and did not occur until v97.0.0-beta.2.

The conditions known so far are

• It only occurs in a specific fixed-line WIFI environment.
• The problem occurs on an IPv6/MAP-E line using IPoE.
• Changing DNS providers produces the same result.
• Even in the above environment, the problem does not occur when a proxy server is used.

Please help.

I am trying to open about:config in Firefox Focus Android (normal version, no beta), and it does not open. Is this a bug or by design? Please not "by design". What I want to change: The number of rows on the shortcuts, since only four shortcuts are not enough.

Usage of FF Klar has, for the most part, been a delight so far. A real annoyance is the limitation of only four sites can be added/stored to Shortcuts. As a sanity check, I tried using FF Focus, with the same results. Please remove this limitation from Klar and Focus. Thanks & Regards, Mike.

The suggestions and autofill section in the Firefox Focus Android app is completely unreadable when app is in dark mode. Because of the poor contrast of using dark text on dark background. I had to switch to light mode to be able to view the suggestions.

Please fix it in the next update asap. Thank you.
