Specs: Android 13 Pixel 5 with latest version of Firefox installed.

Issue: This problem has existed for months for me.

audio stutters or more so swiftly cuts in and out.

Sometimes the video itself stutters/lags.

Taping the full screen icon puts the app in the background. Upon reopening it, the entire app looks like it's hanging off the side of the screen.

On certain websites I notices I have 'unknown errors' when trying to log in.

Usually this is remedied by either using Chrome or clearing cookies and the cache.

Both of there are inconvenient and result in a great deal of wasted time.

The usual response by these websites is "get Mozilla to fix this".

I'm getting sick of this.

I don't want to switch to Chrome but I will have to if this persists.

I have a blog over at venera.social, and when I view my timeline on my Fold4 using Dex, the page doesn't fully load, cutting off about two-thirds of the way down, which is rather a problem as the navigation buttons are at the bottom of the page. The problem is only when using DeX with an external trackball connected, when using the phone screen as a touch pad or just using Firefox on the phone, the page loads completely.

Firefox 98.0.1 will not load some web pages that other browsers will. I get a message about Network Protocol Error with the option to "Try Again" which hasn't worked. I've tried many of the fixes suggested here but nothing changes. If I copy the link Firefox won't open and paste it in Brave or Opera the link loads fine. I don't want to quit Firefox but I can't spend time every day trying to fix it either.

I am working on a project that entails saving various news stories. Since your last upgrade to 97.0.1 I have no problem with all other newspapers except for Washington Post. FF will not save them, so I am forced to click on the "progress of ongoing download" down pointing arrow and click again on the circular arrow to actually save the web page. This involves a loss of time doing a task that I should not be forced to perform. See the graphic image below to see what I'm talking about. Once I click on that circular arrow the web page will be saved as it should have to begin with. Since I normally save 30 to 40 Washington Post files every day, this adds up to a useless waste of my time. I'd appreciate it if you would look into this matter and issue a correction update so I can save Washington Post web pages without all the double stroking. Thank you.

I've seen several people ask this question but it was for Windows or Mac. I'm running current Lubuntu on an HP laptop and every few weeks I get this error message and can't shake it. I've tried several fixes up to and including reinstalling the distro but if it fixes itself it seems to be random. Any help would be appreciated

In trying to reach at least one Web site (maybe more), https://jabberwocking.com/, I get an error page, Error 523: Origin is unreachable. It also has some tech stuff I don't understand. What can I do?

This forum website sometimes just gets stuck and doesn't want to load, and Firefox won't even throw the timeout error. This issue cannot be consistently replicated.

I tested this in another browser called Google Chrome, and the issue is not present there.

I have a Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G running Android 13.

Hi, can anyone tell me if Firefox for Android (in my case: Fennec) will get a native dark mode for websites in the future? I know there are addons that do this, but unfortunately they make browsing much slower.

I'm having trouble with Bing not using the layout I want it to on my tablet. On edge, another chromium browsers, Bing will render with a nice tablet layout. But on Firefox for android on my Pixel Tablet, Bing renders a stretched out version of the smartphone page. Is there anyway that I can change the user agent so that I can make it load differently?

Can't connect with the just downloaded version 66.0.4 to virtually any site - not to Google, not to NYT, not even to Mozilla - Firefox won't accept ANY certificate! What can you do about it? addons.cdn.mozilla.net has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site. The issue is most likely with the web site, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. If you are on a corporate network or using anti-virus software, you can reach out to the support teams for assistance. You can also notify the web site’s administrator about the problem.

The explanation is as follows: Someone could be trying to impersonate the site and you should not continue. Web sites prove their identity via certificates. Firefox does not trust www.nytimes.com because its certificate issuer is unknown, the certificate is self-signed, or the server is not sending the correct intermediate certificates. No problems whatever with other browsers. I'm sending this with Safari.

What's going wrong with pinning websites to the desktop? On my old Tesco Hudl2 tablet, I could pin any website I wanted to the desktop.

On my new Lenovo tablet, I am able to pin sites like toolstation.com and Tesco groceries, but not yell.com or groceries.asda.com

On my phone (a Xiaomi X3 Poco NFC), I had successfully pinned traveline.com and yahoo.co.uk, but both of those pins disappeared recently, and now I can't re-pin them. Both remain pinned on my tablet.

Am I doing something wrong? Why is this feature so inconsistent?

How can I override the default to connect to a website in HTTPS-mode and enforce a HTTP connection for specific websites, like the configuration server on modems/routers?

Where is the Firefox-for-Desktop option in the padlock menu for the Android version, when it says "Connection is not secure", to turn off "HTTPS-Only Mode" temporarily or permanently for that site?

All I have available, is the in this case pointless "Retry" button and the useless info "This connection has timed out". But nothing at all to force a HTTP-Only connection.

The solution can't be, that every time I need to connect to a website that does not support transport encryption, to have to dive deep into FF's settings and globally disable "HTTPS-Only Mode", and once I am done, go back and enable it again.

So, what is the pragmatic solution on mobile Firefox to add and manage such exceptions?

mazdausa.com won't fully display. I just updated to version 100 (woohoo) and tried looking in troubleshooting mode, still no luck. The middle of the page where the car (picture) is supposed to show up is blank. The rest of the site loads.
