instagram.com not asking for notification permission, so I'm not able to receive notifications from this site.

Someone else experiencing this? Is there something that I and/or Firefox and/or Instagram can do to fix this?

CONFIGS

• Settings> Sites Permission> Notifications is set to Ask to allow
• there's no record of instagram.com on Settings> Sites Permission> Exceptions
• Tested also with addons disabled
• Firefox version: 117.1.0 (Build #2015973691), from Google Play Store
• Oneplus 11

Ps: Tested on Google Chrome and the site asks for this permission

I am trying to make a purchase on the 5% nutrition website. The browser will not allow me to change flavors from the drop down menu. When I select from the drop down the page reloads to the default. The website works on other browsers. I am running version 116.0.2. Thanks, Jesse

Hi, Suddenly Firefox Android can no longer open the magnet links. I can download and open the torrent with the torrent agent and I can also use the magnet links on Chrome Android, but on Firefox Android it doesn't work. I don't get any error message, it just doesn't work. I also tried Firefox Nightly, but that didn't work either. Anyone has an idea how can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

At Firefox iOS mobile app when I open and do a search, with google configure as main search, I’m always asked to login or accept the google policy.

Why the browser don’t save the information for next search’s? I don't have any option to enable or disable the cookies, I already have disable the tracking protection (at firefox settings) and still happen.

But didn't find any solution.

Please let me know how to solve this issue, because with other browsers I don't have it, and I would like to still use Firefox.

In Samsung Galaxy M23 5G smartphone (SM-M236B/DS) with Android 14 and Firefox 123.1.0 when I go to https://translate.google.com and insert a phrase, for example "I want a table" (you can try any words you want, single word or phrase) I hear the words distorted. This is happening after about 3 or 4 times or more tries when I hit the little speaker icon and waiting to finish the vocal pronunciation each time. I can't remember if this happened in earlier versions of Firefox for Android. I installed most of known browsers for Android (Opera, Edge, Vivaldi, Brave) and none has this problem, even the Samsung browser. I installed other versions of Firefox for Android (Focus, Beta for testers, Nightly for Developers) and all of them have the same problem. Also, I uninstalled and installed the original Firefox and I did restart of smartphone and also I connected bluetooth headphones but same problem. Maybe you will not hear the distortion in that smartphone above and android 14 combination with the first try but you will hear it in next tries. I don't know if this is happening in other Samsung SMARTPHONES. in this case, when I try to open ao3 from gmail links, the website just gets stuck loading (the lock symbol also has a slash across it). i try to open link in Firefox but same problem. (im on mobile btw)

i can access the same webpage just fine if i find it by searching manually in Firefox though

other website links work fine, and this problem only started maybe a few days ago

I have a Samsung S22 Ultra on android 13 and the version of Firefox app is 107.2.0

All adult content is blocked whilst in a normal browser, however, in a private browser it's fine.

Trying to login to lovehoney.co.uk and annsummrs.com with no joy.

I am the bill payer and have no issues in Chrome.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the issue is?

Hi I have discovered that when trying to login to https://help.ui.com it seems that some kind of redirection is broken just in Firefox focus.

I am able to successfully login to that website in Chrome, Normal Firefox and duckduckgo.

Step 1: navigate to https://help.ui.com on Android FF Focus Step 2: click the hamburger menu at the top Step 3: click login Step 4: witness the brokenness

Hello. I have the most recent update for Android Firefox. Suddenly I can not watch videos because it says my JavaScript is off. I have not done anything to change any settings. Last few days I am unable to see my Xfinity / Comcast & google emails via Firefox - but I can see them via Safari. Addresses are : [edited] @comcast.net, [edited] @gmail.com. Have been able to get them via Firefox for a long time prior. Also, lately firefox will stop my search until I click the FF icon where a wheel is turning and once I click it, it changes to a check mark and then I can proceed. Can you help please? Thank you.

hi, i visit Web that contains VR. The gyroscope seems work but i can't control the vr like click, even move. The screen is also back to portrait eventho i change it to landscape.

When i tap on any link it asks to open in other apps and when i accept it open in "virustotal". This broblem only happens in firefox, the other browsers worked fine, and i haven't set virustotal app to open any links by default. I don't want to reject all "open in other apps" requests as it may be usefull like playstore links or youtube etc..

When I am trying to access my website https://specialplasticparts.com on Firefox for Android, I get the following error message:

"cannot complete request additional information"

This does not happen on Chrome or Edge for Android. It does not happen on Firefox PC version.

Also, it does not happen every time on Firefox for Android, but quite often.

Does anyone know what is causing this?

On desktop we can click the padlock to view the actual SSL certificate but on Mobile this does not work.

Viewing the SSL certificate is a very important and useful ability and should be supported the same way as viewing a web page's HTML source or viewing an email message's headers.
