Phone can see wifi but after entering password fails to connect - it appears to clear password entered on clicking OK

I can see all the available Wifi in the area, but when I click on the one I want and enter the correct password and press ok the phone fails to connect.

On clicking ok after entering the password the field seems to clear, whether that has anything to do with it I don't know?!?

Hello,

Try turning Wi-Fi off and back on and try again. If that doesn't work, reboot the device by turning off, taking the back cover and the battery out and wait 5 seconds and put it back in/ on. If the issue continues to persists please let us know. Also, you may want to try rebooting your modem to see if it'll help.
