Hi!

Unfortunately, Firefox OS does not support advanced WiFi setup configurations at this time. It supports password and SSID entry, but that's it. Hopefully, the WiFi setup manager will be improved in the future.

Sorry for being unable to offer a solution.

Please post back if you have more questions.

Hi dhivakarg,

As Epicaleb mentioned, there is currently no way to configure Wi-Fi proxy versions.

Also, according to this post by one of our QA engineers:

  • There is a proxy setting for the Mobile Data (settings -> cellular data -> data settings ) , however fiddling with that could affect the data that you get through your SIM. ie possibly not at all.

Also to note, if you do go through a proxy server, I recommend that you do not go to any password sites as the proxy would capture what you send to the proxy.

Additionally, a Bugzilla ticket #983265 has been filed so that this feature may be considered for future releases. I hope you find this information helpful.

Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Firefox OS device.

Thanks,

- Ralph
