Every time I turned on my computer for the day and go to open Firefox, it won't open. It doesn't get any error messages but it then works fine after I do a reboot of my computer. It's getting very annoying. I have Firefox 18.0.2.

Hi novagirl,
you should see this article: Firefox won't start - find solutions
Maybe removing your installation and reinstalling would fix your problem, but I suggest to match your condition with one in the article above.

You could also try restarting Firefox in Safe Mode .
If Firefox starts fine, then probably probematic extensions cause your problem. To see if an extension is the problem, go to the Firefox "Add-ons -> Extensions" list, disable all of your extensions and then close and restart Firefox. If Firefox starts normally, one of your extensions was causing the crash.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?

Norton 360 Premier Edition. Firefox works fine after I reboot my computer but it's during the time I first turn it on for the day it don't want to load, after I'd do a reboot it loads fine.

The wired part is I cannot run it in Safe Mode. Apparently this new version don't have a Safe Mode option.
