firefox mobile on samsung note 2

when on eBay deals of the day, the deals are displayed in bands across the screen. 1 band for each seller. The bads X extend to the right. But I try to scroll the bands horizontally, the band snaps back to home and I can't read or see what is there. My default Samsung browser works correctly.

Are you using Firefox 17?

I am usinbg 17 of Firefox. It's just weird that the default browser works fine.
