I want to highlite, and copy specific informational text in a webpage. In Windows I use control-c and control-v after highlighting text. I'm now using Firefox mobile on my android tablet.

Also, no icon is present for Firefox on my desktop screen

Hey,

when you tap and hold down on your Firefox for Android, you should be getting some markers that should allow you to copy and paste.

We've got an article all about it - How do I copy and paste text on Android?

As for putting a Firefox icon the home screen, open the screen that lists all of your installed apps and then press and hold on the Firefox icon until you can place it on the home screen.

Thank you both very much! wolfzaz
