How do I sync a new desktop with an already synced phone?

So it's pretty clear how to sync my phone to my Desktop, or how to add a new desktop to my "sync pool" when I have my laptop handy.

But!

For the life of me I can't figure out how to add a new machine to my sync pool when all I have with me is my synced phone. I think I remember seeing an option to "add a device" on my phone before, but it seems to be missing now.

What's the deal, is it not possible to sync using the mobile app?

(I can understand that this is kind of a security concern. If I lose my phone, someone could use it to view my synced data. If this is the logic behind restricting this kind of sync I'd like to point out that anyone who is concerned about data security can secure their phone. Further, an option could be added into sync to allow syncing from the mobile device. Disallowing is definitely the safe default.)
