why is firefox unresponsive for the last 2 weeks all other browswers work on my pc but yours now since last update from you

i been useing firefox for two years now but however last update it became unresponsive and has been for 2 weeks now. everything else works on my computer including three other browsers. I have deleted and installed firefox 4 it worked for three days and now is unresponsive when i open it as well. I am not the only one with this issue several friends of mine have complained of the same issue with your browser. You need to fix the issue or please send me a explaination to what is going on.
