MacBook Pro (2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo)

websites the test Java report it as disabled

I saw that in OS X 10.6 you can turn off 64 bit mode in Get Info, but this does not seem to be an option in OS X 10.5.8

Java is current and recently checked, have in this order: Java SE 6 v1.6.0_24-b07-334 64-bit J2SE 5.0 v1.5.0_28-b04 for both 64-bit and 32-bit J2SE 1.4.2 v1.4.2_22 32-bit

Plug-in is enabled Noscript is not loaded

Multiple Java applets have been tried and none load.
