Having weird problem with new window. Get the old firefox look with wrong URL and messy appearance.

I opened a new window in Firefox main window. The new window looks nothing like the main window of Firefox 4 Beta. And when I have tabs in new window, the URL doesn't seem to change. Infact, it doesn't change at all in any tabs. It remains unless I manually change it.

I do not encounter this problem in main Firefox window. Only if I open a new window from the main. Why is that?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thanks for that. Experimented with disabling and enabling every addon and found the problem.

It was with a addon extension called FlashGot It works fine with main window but seems to have problems with new windows. Strange.
