Unable to load 3.6 result instructions at 0x5a927b0c the memory could not be written. What do I do?

Ever since I have tried to upgrade from 3.0.10 I get the same message and have to re-load the above to enable me to use fire fox. fire fox now states I am not protected; upgrade. When I try the message (I use Windows XP) states that: the instruction at 0x5a927b0c is not available, The memory could not be written
