I know that user and global prefs can be edited by going to about:config. But I would like to automate and standardize some preference settings for users at my company. Specifically, I want to edit network.automatic-ntlm.auth.trusted-uris and network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris to enable SSO within our network. I have tried editing prefs.js on Firefox 3.6.13 and it doesn't allow editing in vi even if I change the file permissions. How can I automate these settings for all users?
